Scarlett Johansson’s reported property history spans Los Angeles, Manhattan, the Hamptons, and Palisades, New York. It includes a Spanish-style Hollywood Hills villa, a Buff & Hensman-designed Los Feliz house, a Manhattan penthouse, and the historic Ivy House. But the available reporting documents past transactions and ownership statements through June 2023—not a complete inventory or verified account of where she lives today.

Where does Scarlett Johansson live now?

The sources available here do not establish Johansson’s current residence or confirm which properties she owns as of October 2026. The most recent portfolio overview cited is Architectural Digest’s June 15, 2023 report, whose present-tense descriptions reflect that publication date. Its account is useful as a retrospective, not as a current property or title record.

What homes has Scarlett Johansson owned?

The reported timeline below distinguishes completed sales from purchases and homes described as held at the time of the 2023 overview. Prices are historical transaction figures, not current valuations.

Period Property and reported details Reported transaction
2003–2013 A one-bedroom Hollywood condo, reported at about 1,148 square feet. Architectural Digest’s 2023 retrospective reports a $372,000 purchase in 2003 and a $470,000 sale in 2013. Architectural Digest
2007–2010 A 1931 Spanish-style Hollywood Hills villa with four bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, about 4,300 square feet, a central atrium, gardens, and a pool on nearly three-quarters of an acre. The Los Angeles Times reported that Johansson bought it from Harold Becker for $7 million in 2007 and sold it for $4 million in 2010. Los Angeles Times
2008–2022 A 1,270-square-foot, two-bedroom penthouse in Manhattan’s Sutton Place, with a roughly 500-square-foot terrace. Reported interior features included a renovated kitchen with white marble, a sunroom off the primary suite, and a glass-brick partition. Architectural Digest reported a $2.1 million purchase in 2008 and an approximately $1.9 million sale in 2022, after more than two and a half years on the market. Architectural Digest
2010–2012 The Wong House in Los Feliz, a 2,835-square-foot modernist home designed by Buff & Hensman, with two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a pool, a walled garden, and city and ocean views. The Los Angeles Times reported a $2.9 million purchase in 2010. Architectural Digest’s retrospective says Johansson and her then-husband Ryan Reynolds bought it together and sold it in 2012 for $3.5 million. Los Angeles Times · Architectural Digest
2014; status reported in 2023 A two-story, four-bedroom Hamptons beach house, reported at 3,500 square feet, with a heated pool and deeded ocean access. Architectural Digest reported a $2.2 million purchase in 2014 and said Johansson still owned the home in June 2023. That does not confirm ownership today. Architectural Digest
2014; status reported in 2023 A gated Los Feliz mansion described as a two-story 1940s home with four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, a pool, and a spa. Architectural Digest reported a $3.88 million purchase by Johansson and her then-husband Romain Dauriac. It described her as still owning the property in June 2023, a status not verified here after that date. Architectural Digest
2018; status reported in 2023 Ivy House in Palisades, New York, built in 1953 and designed by Eric Gugler. Architectural Digest noted Hudson River views, a pool, a guest house, and period details. Architectural Digest reported a $4 million purchase in 2018. Its 2023 account said Johansson and Colin Jost maintained the residence and married there in October 2020; it does not establish present ownership. Architectural Digest

What stands out about the portfolio?

A shift among distinct kinds of homes

The Los Angeles properties range from a Spanish-style villa to the modernist Wong House and a gated Los Feliz mansion. The Manhattan chapter is a compact penthouse with unusually generous outdoor space, while the Hamptons home adds beach access and a pool. Ivy House brings a different character: a mid-century residence in Palisades with a design pedigree and river views.

Reported prices do not show investment returns

The reported Hollywood Hills villa transactions were $7 million in 2007 and $4 million in 2010; the Sutton Place penthouse was reported purchased for $2.1 million and sold for about $1.9 million. Those figures are not enough to calculate profit or loss over ownership: transaction costs, renovation spending, carrying costs, and exact closing details are not established in the cited accounts. A headline description of the penthouse sale as being “at a loss” refers to the reported purchase and sale prices, not a full accounting of ownership costs.

How to read the record

  • These are reported transactions and dated ownership descriptions, not a verified list of Johansson’s current holdings.
  • The Wong House is described by the Los Angeles Times as a purchase by Johansson; Architectural Digest later specifies that she and Reynolds bought it together.
  • The 2014 Los Feliz mansion is attributed to Johansson and Dauriac together in Architectural Digest’s account.
  • For the Hamptons house, the Los Feliz mansion, and Ivy House, the cited 2023 report does not establish what happened to ownership after its publication.
