Kendall is associated with a Richard Mille in season four, Roman with Rolex, Shiv with Cartier, and Tom’s watches change as his position changes. Those are useful character-level identifications—not a verified inventory of every watch in every scene.
How the show chose its watches
In an interview with GQ, prop master Monica Jacobs described a collaborative selection process involving the costume director and actors. The watches were chosen deliberately to fit how the characters present themselves. Jeremy Strong also said Richard Mille’s brand and partnerships director, Amanda Mille, supplied a watch for him to wear as Kendall. That account supports a specific brand connection; it does not establish that every watch on screen was paid placement.
Watch guides add model-level identifications, often by examining what appears on screen. Those observations can be helpful, but they are not equivalent to a production confirmation. The distinctions below reflect what the cited sources actually support.

What watch did Tom give Logan in the pilot?
Tom gives Logan a Patek Philippe as a birthday present in the pilot. Hodinkee reproduces Tom’s explanation of the gift: “it’s incredibly accurate; every time you look at it, it tells you how rich you are”. The line makes the watch more than a luxury object: it turns wealth itself into the joke.

Tom’s own wristwatch in that scene is a separate prop. IMWDb identifies it as a replica styled after a Panerai Luminor, not a genuine Panerai. The gift and the watch Tom wears should not be conflated.
Why Tom’s later watch matters
Tom’s progression from a Cartier association to an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph offers a visual marker of changing status. British GQ interprets the later watch as a clue to his increased power by the finale. That reading fits the show’s use of expensive accessories to signal position, but it remains an interpretation rather than an explanation confirmed by the production.

How certain are these watch identifications?
The clearest evidence about selection comes from Jacobs’s interview with GQ. The other identifications largely come from specialist guides examining watches shown on screen. IMWDb notes uncertainty and conflicting claims for some items, so a resemblance in an image should not be treated as proof of an exact model or reference.
- Use “associated with” for a character-level brand connection.
- Attribute an exact model to the publication identifying it, and keep it within the season or scene that publication supports.
- Distinguish a character’s own watch from a gift or a replica prop.
The available sources offer a useful guide to recurring associations, not a complete, verified watch-by-watch inventory across all four seasons.
