What did Dina Broadhurst share from the Atacama Desert?
According to PerthNow’s report, the images included a nude outdoor-shower photograph and a separate bikini photograph, alongside scenic views of the Atacama Desert. The report places the outdoor-shower image among the landscape pictures; it does not provide an independently verified copy of the original post.
The location is described only as the Atacama Desert in Chile. The report does not name a hotel, shower facility, tour operator, or more precise site, so none can be identified from the available account.

Broadhurst’s work and the travel post are not necessarily the same kind of statement. In a 2021 interview with Amber Baker for Remix Magazine, Broadhurst discussed nudity in her art as a way to foreground freedom, simplicity, rawness, self-acceptance, and sexuality. She said: “Ultimately it’s a sense of freedom, of clothing and style not overtaking the work, of simplicity, of rawness of nature and of being at one with yourself.” That comment addresses recurring nudity in her artwork; it does not establish her specific intention for the Atacama post.
