Tyla wore a long black Jacquemus gown with open sides and a visible thong-style brief to the designer’s menswear show in Paris on January 26, 2025. Teen Vogue described the brief as integrated into the garment; the look revealed her side torso while covering most of her body.
What Tyla wore
The gown was floor-length and black, with openings along the sides that exposed her waist and side torso. Teen Vogue also noted the open back. A thong-style brief was visible beneath the gown; Teen Vogue described it as sewn into the design rather than simply worn as a separate visible undergarment. Vogue identified the dress as a Jacquemus maxi gown, and Teen Vogue covered the integrated-brief detail.
When and where she wore it
Tyla attended the Jacquemus menswear presentation in Paris on January 26, 2025. Vogue placed the appearance at the Fall 2025 collection presentation, while Teen Vogue called it the Fall/Winter 2025/2026 show. Vogue France’s article uses a Spring-Summer 2025 label, so the season naming differs across coverage; the date, Paris setting, and Jacquemus menswear context are consistent. Vogue France also reports the appearance and describes the gown.
Why it was called a “naked dress”
Vogue framed the outfit as Tyla’s take on the naked-dress trend, but the gown was mostly covered: its revealing effect came from the open sides and the visible brief. “Naked dress” is the publication’s trend description, not a quoted characterization from Tyla or designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.
