Does Mahito return in Chapter 21, or is he restored in Chapter 22?
Those are separate story beats in the available summaries. The Chapter 21 account describes Mahito’s appearance in the passageway; the Chapter 22 synopsis says Maru restores him afterward. Calling the cliffhanger itself a complete explanation of Mahito’s return collapses the reveal and its follow-up into one event.
