Some vintage wrestling cards have recorded high-grade sales or notable price-guide estimates, but no source here establishes a definitive ranking of the 16 most valuable wrestling cards. The examples below are cards collectors should identify and research—not a promise that any copy will sell for a particular amount. Exact set, year, card number, condition, grade, and sale date all matter.
How to read the values in this guide
The figures below come from two different kinds of records. PSA provides graded-card population information and auction history for the 1982 Hulk Hogan card. Midpoint provides guide estimates for selected 1985 Wrestling All Stars cards, separating raw estimates from PSA 10 estimates. A guide estimate is not a verified sale; neither kind of figure guarantees what a card will sell for now.
For the 1985 cards, the PSA 10 and raw figures are Midpoint estimates in its page snapshot accessed October 4, 2026. They are not results of one audited transaction. Cards without figures below are checklist and guide candidates, not confirmed high-dollar sales.
16 wrestling cards collectors should check
1. 1982 Wrestling All-Stars Series A #2 Hulk Hogan
Identify this precisely as the 1982 Wrestling All-Stars Series A #2 Hulk Hogan; “Hulk Hogan #2” alone is not enough to establish the issue. PSA’s CardFacts snapshot accessed October 4, 2026 lists 19 PSA 9 examples and 79 PSA 8 examples. Those counts are a snapshot, not a measure of how many raw copies exist or a guarantee of scarcity.

PSA certification sales history records a PSA 8 copy sold through Heritage Auctions on September 19, 2026 for $8,540. That is a specific graded sale, not a price for every copy of the card. PSA CardFacts separately displays a $4,050 most-recent-price field for PSA 9 and an $8,401 field for PSA 8, along with other PSA price fields and dated 2025 auction results. Do not treat those fields as the same measure as the September 2026 Heritage transaction. See PSA CardFacts for the card’s grade-specific data and history; PSA’s certification record identifies the Heritage-sale example.
2. 1985 Wrestling All Stars #46 Andre the Giant
Midpoint’s October 4, 2026 snapshot estimates $4,200 for a PSA 10 and $16.25 for a raw copy. These are guide values, not confirmed prices from a particular sale.
3. 1985 Wrestling All Stars #1 Hulk Hogan
Midpoint’s October 4, 2026 snapshot estimates $3,547 for a PSA 10 and $45.94 raw. Do not apply the PSA 10 estimate to an ungraded card.

- Identify the issue. Record the year, full set and series name, card number, wrestler or subject, and any variation. Similar names or numbers across sets are not interchangeable.
- Assess condition. Look for creases, corner wear, surface marks, stains, print defects, and centering. A raw card is ungraded; do not compare it directly with the result or estimate for a high-grade slabbed card.
- Find comparable completed sales. Match the exact card and, where possible, the grade. Prefer recent completed transactions to asking prices, and note the sale date and venue. Several comparable sales are more informative than one headline result.
- Keep estimates separate from sales. Treat price-guide figures as estimates, not realized proceeds. Account for the fact that a card’s condition, venue, timing, and buyer demand can produce a different result.
- Use population counts cautiously. PSA says its Condition Census is a work in progress: “While every effort is made to be as accurate as possible, errors and omissions may occur. The census of any particular card can and does change as new cards are graded and/or discovered.” PSA CardFacts therefore provides reference data, not proof that a card is rare or a prediction of its future price.
Should you grade a raw wrestling card?
A high PSA 10 estimate alone cannot answer that question. Compare the raw card’s likely condition with the graded examples behind available data, then weigh grading costs and the chance of receiving a lower grade against the potential value difference. The supplied figures do not establish grading outcomes for any particular raw copy. For the 1985 Andre the Giant #46, Midpoint’s estimate contrasts $16.25 raw with $4,200 at PSA 10, but that guide comparison is not a guarantee that a submitted card will receive a 10 or sell at the estimate.
