Who won the Perfect Match Season 3 finale?
Lucy Syed and Daniel Perfetto won the season’s “most compatible couple” title. After the final compatibility test, Lucy and Daniel and AD Smith and Ollie Sutherland advanced to the deciding vote; the remaining cast members chose Lucy and Daniel. The prize was an all-expenses-paid vacation for two, not a guarantee that the winning couple would remain together. Netflix Tudum’s finale recap reported the result on August 15, 2025.
Lucy said she “genuinely wasn’t expecting it to be us.” The finale vote was made by the participants still in the game, not by viewers.

The season finale aired August 15, 2025, while Netflix reported that the finale was filmed in September 2024. A finale match therefore describes the show’s outcome, not necessarily a relationship that continued after filming.
What happened to each finale couple?
AD Smith and Ollie Sutherland: married
The pair were runners-up, but theirs was the only finale relationship Tudum still described as together in its May 2026 update. The 2025 follow-up had reported that they were engaged and expecting a child; the later roundup said they married in fall 2025 and had welcomed their first child. Ollie described their pace after the show this way: “We just kept the momentum going from the show, onwards and upwards.”

Lucy Syed and Daniel Perfetto: the winners who did not take the trip
Lucy and Daniel spent some time together after filming, then decided their relationship would not work outside the show. They did not use the vacation they won. Daniel pointed to the challenge of distance: “Long-distance is very, very difficult.” Their breakup was reported in Netflix Tudum’s August 18, 2025 follow-up, and the May 2026 roundup still listed them as not together.
Madison Errichiello and Freddie Powell: long distance ended
Madison and Freddie tried to make a transatlantic relationship work, but the time difference, Freddie’s work and family commitments made it difficult. Madison said, “The time difference was really hard for us.” The May 2026 roundup reported that Madison was moving to Miami while Freddie remained in the UK; those were details in that update, not confirmation of their current residences.

Sandy Gallagher and Louis Russell: no lasting romance
Sandy and Louis said little happened romantically after filming and that they were in different places. Sandy put it simply: “Past the show, nothing really happened romantically.” Tudum’s May 2026 roundup also noted separate dating developments: Sandy had made her relationship with Greg public in August 2025, and Louis began dating Huda Mustafa around that time. Those relationships were separate from Sandy and Louis’s finale match.
Rachel Recchia and Ray Gantt: friends, not a continuing couple
Rachel and Ray’s late-season match did not continue romantically. In the 2025 follow-up, both described staying close and making time to see each other; the May 2026 roundup likewise characterized them as friends.

Where to find the finale and relationship updates
Netflix Tudum released the episodes in three batches: episodes 1–6 premiered August 1, episodes 7–9 on August 8, and the finale, episode 10, on August 15, 2025. The schedule and finale coverage are in Tudum’s Season 3 release schedule. The relationship follow-up was published August 18, 2025, and the later all-seasons status roundup was published May 27, 2026: Tudum’s Season 3 couples update and Tudum’s couples roundup.
