My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 16 has already been released. It is overall Episode 154: the official Japanese episode page dates its broadcast to September 7, 2024, while Crunchyroll’s English calendar lists it for September 21, 2024. Those dates refer to different release contexts, not one worldwide streaming date.
When did My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 16 come out?
The official Japanese Episode 154 page gives the broadcast date as Saturday, September 7, 2024. ORICON reported the series’ regular Japanese Saturday broadcast slot as 5:30 p.m. Japan time; that is schedule context, not an episode-specific time printed on the official episode page.
For English-language streaming, Crunchyroll’s calendar listed Season 7, Episode 154, “The Chain Thus Far,” as available on September 21, 2024. This is the date shown for that English calendar entry, not a confirmed launch date or time for every region, language, or catalog. Crunchyroll describes its release calendar as a place to check new episodes, seasons, and movies; listings can vary by region or access.
| Release context | Date or time | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Japanese broadcast | Saturday, September 7, 2024 | The official Japanese episode page’s date for Episode 154. |
| Japanese Saturday schedule | 5:30 p.m. Japan time | ORICON’s reported regular series slot, not an episode-specific time on the official page. |
| Crunchyroll English calendar | September 21, 2024 | The calendar entry for English Season 7 Episode 154, “The Chain Thus Far.” |
Why are there two release dates?
The Japanese broadcast date and the English-language Crunchyroll calendar date describe separate release contexts. The available listings do not establish an exact worldwide streaming time, local time conversions, or dates for every dubbed language. For a particular catalog, check the platform’s listing for your region rather than treating either date as universal.
