IMDb’s available profile data does not verify a current top 10 of Alyssa Milano’s movies and TV shows. It identifies Charmed, Who’s the Boss?, Commando and Fear as known-for titles, while a separate IMDb search is sorted by popularity—not rating. Here are the ratings that can be substantiated, with the distinction between career highlights and a true IMDb ranking made clear.
Why this isn’t a verified IMDb top 10
A ranking “by IMDb” needs comparable IMDb user ratings for each included title, checked at the same time and sorted by rating. The available profile and search results do not establish ten titles in that order. IMDb’s profile selects a limited set as “known for,” while its role-search results are explicitly popularity-sorted. Neither list is a top-rated ranking.

The ratings below are snapshots, accessed in 2026, and may change. They are useful evidence about individual titles, but they do not establish a definitive order across Milano’s film and television work.

Other IMDb results are popularity-sorted
IMDb’s visible role-search results include Castle (8.1), Family Guy (8.1), Grey’s Anatomy (7.6) and Charmed (7.2). The search page says it is sorted by popularity, so those figures cannot be presented as the top four by rating—or as evidence of a full top ten. The result set is also not a consistent comparison of whole series: a role search can include titles with different kinds of appearances.

How these titles fit Milano’s career
Who’s the Boss?: a long-running sitcom role
Milano played Samantha Micelli on Who’s the Boss? from 1984 to 1992. IMDb’s profile records 196 episodes. It is one of the central television roles that anchors her early career.
Commando: her feature-film debut
Rotten Tomatoes’ career overview identifies Commando (1985) as Milano’s feature-film debut, made while she was appearing in Who’s the Boss?. It lists her role as Jenny. Rotten Tomatoes’ career overview and filmography.

Charmed: a defining later series
Milano starred as Phoebe Halliwell in Charmed (1998–2006), with 178 episodes listed on her IMDb profile. Rotten Tomatoes’ career overview places the series among her later major television roles.
Mistresses: another television chapter
Rotten Tomatoes’ career summary also notes Milano’s work on Mistresses (2013–2016). The available IMDb evidence here does not provide a rating for that series, so it cannot be placed in a rating order alongside the four titles above.

Rotten Tomatoes scores are a separate measure
Rotten Tomatoes’ “Highest-Rated Movies” list offers another way to discover Milano’s film credits, but its percentages are not IMDb ratings. The critics’ Tomatometer and audience score are distinct measures, and one should not be substituted for the other.
| Film | Tomatometer | Audience score |
|---|---|---|
| From the Hood to the Holler | 83% | 94% |
| Give Me an A | 83% | 77% |
| Commando | 70% | 68% |
| Driver’s Ed | 67% | not shown in the retrieved excerpt |
These Rotten Tomatoes percentages were available on its filmography page in 2026; they do not establish where any title ranks on IMDb. Source: Rotten Tomatoes’ Alyssa Milano filmography.

What a genuine mixed-film-and-TV ranking needs
To make a defensible top ten, a list would need to define what counts as a title and apply one sorting rule consistently. For example, it could rank substantive acting credits by current IMDb user rating, use IMDb vote count to break ties, and state the date checked. It would also need to decide whether a series is counted as a whole, and how to handle individual episodes, voice roles, documentary or self appearances, archive footage and producer-only credits. The visible results cited here do not resolve those choices or supply enough verified ratings for a ranked ten.
