Travis Kelce said he listened to Taylor Swift’s music while processing the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss in Super Bowl LIX, adding, “She has something for everything.” His public comment was about listening to her songs; he did not describe a specific conversation, playlist, or action Swift took after the game.
What Kelce said on New Heights
In a Feb. 26, 2025 episode of New Heights, Travis Kelce spoke with his brother and co-host Jason Kelce about how he was handling the defeat. Jason asked whether Travis had been listening to music to process the loss.

Travis joked, “the only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first,” then said, “I listen to music that is very telling of my mood.” When Jason suggested sad country music, Travis answered, “I just listen to Taylor’s music,” and added, “She has something for everything.” Jason agreed: “No matter what mood, you can find some Taylor music.” Travis capped the exchange by joking that the Eagles had “broke my heart.” ELLE and Us Weekly reported the exchange on Feb. 26, 2025: ELLE and Us Weekly.

What “supported him” means in this account
The direct detail Kelce shared was that he listened to Swift’s music and felt there was music for every mood. He did not name a particular song or album, say Swift chose music for him, or describe what the two discussed privately.
Earlier reports cited unnamed sources describing Swift as supportive. Those accounts are separate from Kelce’s podcast remarks; ELLE distinguishes the source-based reporting from the exchange on New Heights. The podcast comment is the clearest direct evidence of what Kelce himself said about finding comfort in her music.
