Blue Lock has no official, definitive ranking of its players’ weapons. This is an editorial ranking of ten strengths discussed in the series, judged by how well each can create or convert chances against elite opposition, how reliably it can be used, how many situations it suits, and how much it depends on teammates or a particular setup. The list includes manga developments and may spoil the story for anime-only viewers.
How this ranking compares different weapons
A weapon can help a player reach a scoring chance, finish one, or shape the attack that creates it. Those jobs are not interchangeable: a specialist finish may be devastating in the right position, while a field-reading or ball-control skill can influence more phases of play. The order below weighs both immediate scoring threat and broader usefulness; it is an editorial synthesis, not an official Blue Lock or Kodansha ranking. The official character profiles describe several player strengths, but do not rate them against one another.

The 10 most powerful weapons in Blue Lock
-
Rin Itoshi’s scoring ability and insight
Rin combines goal-scoring ability with insight, giving him both a route to finish attacks and the awareness to read what is unfolding. The official anime character profile describes him as Blue Lock’s current top player in its story context and notes these strengths. That status is not proof that any one weapon is objectively the strongest, but the combination makes him the most complete entry in this ranking.
-
Isagi Yoichi’s Meta Vision
Meta Vision is a manga-specific field-reading ability associated with Isagi. Its appeal as a weapon is its reach across an attack: reading the field can help a player identify where a chance is forming rather than relying only on a particular shot or touch. It ranks below Rin’s combined profile here because perception has to be turned into movement and execution before it produces a goal.

-
Kaiser’s Kaiser Impact
Kaiser Impact is the manga-specific finishing weapon associated with Michael Kaiser. A specialist scoring tool can decide an attack quickly once its user has a viable chance to shoot, but its usefulness is more dependent on getting into a position to use it than a strength that shapes the buildup as well. Kaiser’s official story profile identifies him as Bastard München’s U-20 ace and a member of the New Generation World XI; that status establishes his standing, not an objective comparison between his technique and everyone else’s.
-
Meguru Bachira’s dribbling
Bachira’s dribbling can help him carry the ball past pressure and create an opening himself, making it useful both for advancing an attack and threatening goal. The official anime profile describes his freewheeling style as built around outstanding dribbling. Its rank reflects that ability to generate an advantage with the ball, while recognizing that beating a defender is not the same as finishing the resulting chance.
Rank #2
-
Seishiro Nagi’s trapping
Nagi’s trapping turns difficult receptions into control, a valuable first step toward a shot or the next attacking action. The official anime profile identifies his trapping and innate physical ability as weapons. Its versatility makes it a high-ranking tool, though control alone does not guarantee a scoring opportunity.
-
Ryusei Shidou’s penalty-area instincts
Shidou’s penalty-area instincts make him dangerous when an attack brings the ball into a position where he can finish. The weapon’s strength is its specialization: it focuses on converting chances in the most dangerous area. That narrowness also makes it more dependent on the attack supplying a finishable opportunity than field-reading or ball-carrying skills.

Yoichi Isagi’s direct shot
Isagi’s direct shot is a finishing weapon: its value is in striking the ball without first taking an extra settling touch. It can make a created opening more immediate, but it depends on the right service, timing, and position. That reliance on a usable chance keeps it below the broader tools higher on the list.
-
Rin Itoshi’s precision
Rin’s precision is a distinct finishing strength from the wider combination of scoring ability and insight considered at number one. Precision matters because a shot must beat the goalkeeper, not simply reach the goal. As a specialized advantage, however, it has less influence on the phases before a shooting opportunity exists.
Rank #4
-
Rensuke Kunigami’s physicality and left-footed mid-range shot
Kunigami pairs strong physicality with a left-footed mid-range shot, giving him a physical advantage and a way to threaten from distance. Both are named as weapons in the official anime character profile. The combination is potent, but the shot is most relevant when he has room and a suitable shooting lane.
-
Jyubei Aryu’s jumping ability and reach
Aryu’s exceptional jumping ability and reach give him an aerial advantage. The official anime profile names both as weapons. They can matter when an attack creates a ball to contest in the air, but that situation-specific value makes them less broadly useful than strengths that apply across more phases of play.

What the official sources do—and do not—establish
The official profiles support several descriptions in this ranking: Bachira’s dribbling, Kunigami’s physicality and left-footed mid-range shot, Nagi’s trapping and physical ability, and Aryu’s jumping ability and reach. The official Rin profile describes his scoring ability and insight and calls him the current top Blue Lock player in its story context. The official Neo Egoist League profile identifies Kaiser as a Bastard München U-20 ace and a New Generation World XI member. These are character and story descriptions, not a measured comparison of weapon strength. No published statistic in the official material establishes an objective power score or top-ten order.
Where to read more
The story is a manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. Readers who want to follow the manga itself can consult the official series catalog for collected volumes. The catalog also lists the author-supervised Blue Lock EGOIST BIBLE character book; check the catalog for language and edition details.
