Its announced sale began October 27, 2025; that launch date has passed.
What the PlayStation Superdrop included
Sony Interactive Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast announced seven themed drops, translating characters, locations and objects from PlayStation games into Magic cards. The reveal named The Last of Us, God of War, Horizon Forbidden West, Uncharted and Ghost of Tsushima, with “and more.” The later product listing specifies these seven themes:
- The Last of Us Part I
- The Last of Us Part II
- God of War: Greek
- God of War: Norse
- Horizon: Into the Forbidden West
- Uncharted
- Ghost of Tsushima
The cards were created with participation from Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studio, Guerrilla and Sucker Punch Productions. Each drop was announced in both foil and non-foil versions. PlayStation’s September 26, 2025 announcement previewed selected cards; Wizards’ Secret Lair status page lists the individual products and finishes.
How the game worlds appeared on cards
The Last of Us: partners who can fight together
The reveal showed Joel, Resolute Survivor and Ellie, Brick Master from The Last of Us Part I. Their Partner-Survivors mechanic lets them fight independently or work together, reflecting the pair’s relationship in the game.
#1 Best Overall
- FOR THE FIRST TIME – the survivors from Prime Video’s Fallout series make their debut with new - to-Magic designs
- LUCY MACLEAN, POSITIVELY ARMED – brings her optimism to the battlefield with The Golden Rule, a once-per-turn ability that lets you trade token favors for card draw
- THE GHOUL, GUNSLINGER – feeds on death itself, stacking up rad counters to mill or wipe out opponents—or, if you’re feeling bold, take that radiation yourself for extra resources
- MAXIMUS, KNIGHT APPARENT – ever the true believer, turns scrap into strength, fueling up on energy as he powers up his own T-60 Power Armor
- CONTAINS – 6 Magic: The Gathering cards in non-foil
God of War: two eras of Kratos
Santa Monica Studio worked with Wizards on separate Greek- and Norse-era packs tracing Kratos’s journey. The Greek pack draws on his original-trilogy incarnation, described in the announcement as “raw chaos.”
Ghost of Tsushima: a choice between samurai and Ghost
Jin Sakai’s card offers a choice between Standoff, which grants double strike, and Ghost, which makes him unblockable for the turn. The two options evoke the competing identities at the heart of his story. Sucker Punch creative director Jason Connell said the team wanted Jin’s silhouette and emotional journey “from samurai to Ghost” represented, and praised the Sakai armor framed by wind-carried leaves in the card art.

Launch timing, bundles and what is known now
The announced online sale started October 27, 2025, at 9 a.m. PT (5 p.m. BST / 6 p.m. CEST), while supplies lasted. Those are historical launch details, not an upcoming sale notice. Wizards’ status page records regional release dates of November 6, 2025, in the US, December 15 in the UK and December 29 in the EU. It also lists three bundles: Platinum Trophy Bundle, Foil Trophy Bundle and Non-Foil Trophy Bundle.
The status page says the qualifying-purchase promotional card was Secret Lair x Twisted Metal: Sol Ring, also while supplies lasted. Neither the original announcement nor the status page establishes current stock, resale availability, comparative market prices, total print run or sales figures. The phrase “while supplies lasted” does not reveal how many copies were made.

What collectors should take from the reveal
This was a physical collectible-card crossover, not a digital game announcement. Its defining features were seven franchise-themed drops, two finish options for each, and mechanics and artwork tailored to the game worlds. The official pages document the products and release history, but they do not establish what a particular drop costs or whether it can still be purchased.

- Well look who it is! Come in, come in. Don’t mind the robe. “Uncle Deadpool” is just crashing at Secret Lair for a few days. I’m actually doing a little tour of lairs, hideouts, sanctums, and strongholds and leaving ratings online. It’s been a blast.
- But I wasn’t expecting guests. Just, uh, kick back, relax, and . . . don’t sit on my red suit! It’s drying out. But check this out—Secret Lair made me my own Deadpool cards! Isn’t that nice? So pretty. This one even says, “trading card,” so you don’t forget. Anyway, make yourself comfortable and if you need anything, I’ll be in the kitchen making chimichangas.
