Paramount+ announced the renewal on May 9, 2024, when the series was still known as Special Ops: Lioness. The announcement identified Taylor Sheridan as creator and executive producer and named Zoe Saldaña, Laysla De Oliveira, Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman and Nicole Kidman among the returning cast. Paramount+’s renewal announcement also reported nearly six million total viewers during Season 1’s first week, counting Paramount+ globally and a linear preview on Paramount Network. That was a historical Season 1 figure, not Season 2 viewership or a current audience record.
Is there a Lioness Season 2 DVD?
