Bao Zi holds the Guinness World Records title for the fastest 10 m on a skateboard by a cat, completing the course in 12.85 seconds in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China, on 4 April 2024. The record is for that specific distance and category—not a general measure of every skateboarding cat.
What record did Bao Zi set?
Guinness World Records lists Bao Zi’s achievement as “fastest 10 m on a skateboard by a cat.” Its official record entry gives the time as 12.85 seconds and the location and date as Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China, on 4 April 2024. See the official Guinness World Records listing.
The distance and category matter: the result is a timed 10-metre run on a skateboard, not a claim about the fastest cat over another distance or about skateboarding ability in general. Guinness notes that records can change and its online listings may not update immediately, so the entry is the best source to consult for current status.
