What was the filming update?
On October 2, 2025, 4Filming reported that Chandrasekhar had announced the wrap in a Threads post, saying filming had finished the night before. The report described two photos: one showing him with his familiar mustache and another clean-shaven.

When did production start, and how long was filming underway?
Boston.com reported on September 15, 2025, that production had officially begun on August 20. The article also said cast members attended a Red Sox game at Fenway Park on September 14 while taking a break from filming. Together with the reported wrap, those dates place the production activity in a period of several weeks; they do not establish the precise first day of principal photography.

Where was Super Troopers 3 filmed?
Available records support Massachusetts as a filming location, but do not establish a complete location list. The Numbers lists Massachusetts as the film’s filming state, and Boston.com reported that a Massachusetts-area shoot appeared likely based on behind-the-scenes material and production professionals. Boston.com also cautioned that the precise location was unclear.
Maynard’s Select Board minutes provide a more specific record of planned local activity. Minutes dated August 5, 2025, document a permit request by location manager Stephen Hartman and assistant location manager Alex Miller on behalf of Ghost Pig Inc. The board approved use of specified town streets, parking areas and the Rail Trail on August 25, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The request also described interior shots at Inspired Bliss and Jimmy’s Garage. The permit documents proposed and approved activity, not proof that every proposed shot took place.

Who was reported in the cast?
Boston.com reported that the returning Broken Lizard quintet comprised Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske. It also said Brian Cox and Marisa Coughlan would reprise roles, and named Nat Faxon, Andrew Dismukes, Chace Crawford and Rory Scovel among additions. That is the cast reported at the time, not a substitute for the film’s final credits.

No. The wrap was reported in October 2025, and The Numbers lists a U.S. theatrical release from Searchlight Pictures on August 7, 2026. The same listing gives September 22, 2026, as a video-release date credited to Walt Disney Home Entertainment. It does not specify a physical format, so that date alone does not confirm a DVD or Blu-ray release.
