In an October 2024 social-media video, Love Is Blind season 7 cast member Hannah Jiles presented a post-show transformation with the caption, “Same girl, just a healthier mindset.” Later that month, she said she had lost 40 pounds before filming and another 30 afterward. Those are her dated, self-reported figures—not a verified account of her current weight or health.
What Hannah Jiles shared in October 2024
On October 8, Jiles posted a video lip-syncing a line from Uptown Girls alongside an image associated with her season 7 appearance. Women’s Health reported that she captioned it, “Same girl, just a healthier mindset.” The post was the moment that prompted renewed attention to her weight-loss story; it was not a new, independently verified measurement.

Weight had already been part of Jiles’s story on the show. She discussed it as an insecurity in the pods, and in an October 3 interview with Us Weekly, she explained why she chose to speak about it: “It’s just a part of my journey and when I’m talking about weight loss, it’s my biggest insecurity, so it’s something that’s important to me.”
How much weight did Hannah Jiles say she lost?
Jiles gave two different kinds of figures in October 2024: a timeline of reported losses in a first-person account and specific weight snapshots in an interview. The accounts should be kept distinct rather than treated as one exact, verified calculation.

| Source and date | What Jiles reported | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Jiles’s first-person account for Women’s Health, October 30, 2024 | She said she was 220 pounds at her heaviest, lost 40 pounds before filming, and lost another 30 pounds after the show. | A retrospective timeline in her own account, not an independently measured result. |
| Us Weekly, October 22, 2024 | She said she had been 220 pounds at her heaviest, was 175 pounds before filming, and weighed 145 pounds at the time of that interview. | Dated weight snapshots she reported in an interview; the 145-pound figure refers to that interview, not to her current weight. |
| Women’s Health, October 16, 2024, reporting her season conversation | The article reported that Jiles had discussed losing about 45 pounds in 2022. | A separately reported earlier figure; it does not by itself reconcile the later accounts’ timelines. |
Because these are personal reports from different interviews, the figures are best understood with their source and date attached. The accounts do not establish a current weight, a medically assessed outcome, or one independently confirmed total.
What Jiles said about how she approached weight loss
In her October 30 first-person account, Jiles described eating until she felt full rather than following a strict diet. She said she focused on protein and greens, portioned her food, and still allowed herself dessert. She also said she began running, tried to move more, went to Pilates occasionally, drank more water, and reduced soda.

These are descriptions of her personal habits, not a tested or prescribed weight-loss plan. Her account does not establish that any single food choice or activity caused a particular amount of weight loss.
Did Hannah Jiles take Ozempic?
Jiles said she tried Ozempic for about two weeks in spring 2024 and stopped because she felt nauseated and too sick to continue. “Two weeks was all I could do,” she told Women’s Health. In an interview reported by Glamour, she likewise said she stopped after roughly two weeks because it made her sick, and attributed her change to her own efforts.
This is Jiles’s account of her experience and her attribution; it is not independent evidence about what caused her weight change. Her medication experience should not be taken as medical guidance or a recommendation. Anyone considering a prescription medication should discuss its risks and suitability with a qualified health professional.

The figures and medication account above come from October 2024 interviews and reporting. Netflix’s season 7 cast update identifies Jiles and follows up on the cast, but it does not establish a current weight. No reliable, attributable later account confirms her current weight or status, so the 2024 figures should not be presented as current.
