Ferry 2 is a 2024 Dutch crime-drama film that continues Ferry Bouman’s story after season three of Undercover. Ferry has lost his drug empire and left Brabant when his second cousin Jezebel Van Kamp asks him for help—a request that forces him to confront his connection to the murder of her father, Jurgen.
What is Ferry 2 about?
The film picks up after the events of Undercover season three. Ferry is no longer at the height of his criminal power: his drug empire is gone, and he has moved away from Brabant. Jezebel’s appeal for help draws him back toward his past and the circumstances surrounding her father’s murder. That premise comes from Netflix’s announcement of the film and its official UK title page.
Netflix classifies it as a drama, with crime and thriller labels in its catalogue. Frank Lammers returns as Ferry; the listed cast also includes Aiko Mila Beemsterboer, Tobias Kersloot, Huub Smit, Marouane Meftah, Hamza Othman and Jonas Smulders. Wannes Destoop directed the film, written by Tibbe van Hoof and Geerard Van de Walle and produced by De Mensen.
How does it connect to Undercover?
Ferry 2 is a continuation of the story after the series’ third season, not a separate account of Ferry’s earlier life. It is a feature film rather than another season. The official announcement establishes that chronology; it does not establish a recommended viewing order beyond placing the film after season three.
