These seven comedy episodes bring Easter to community parks, homes, stores, and church services. The list is an editorial selection, not a ranked verdict.
How to choose an Easter episode
For the holiday to drive most of the story, start with Valloweaster, North Star, Easter, or Eggs for Days. If you want a quick Easter moment rather than a holiday-focused plot, Canvassing puts its egg hunt in the cold open. The choices range from family and workplace comedy to darker church satire.
Seven Easter episodes to watch
1. “Canvassing” — Parks and Recreation, Season 1, Episode 2
Leslie Knope organizes a Pawnee community Easter egg hunt, but the event gets off to a rough start: she tries to help children find eggs while wearing bunny ears, and Tom admits he forgot to hide them. Easter is concentrated in the cold open, so this is a good pick if you want a brief seasonal scene rather than a full holiday plot. Peacock identifies it as Season 1, Episode 2 and lists the episode on its episode page.
2. “And Yet One of You Is a Devil” — The Righteous Gemstones, Season 1, Episode 7
This is the list’s darker, church-centered option. The Gemstone family prepares for an Easter Sunday telecast while Baby Billy persuades Judy to sing at a mall church service. Jesse and his son Gideon become trapped in a church vault during a hostage situation, turning the holiday setting into part of the show’s religious-family satire.

3. “Valloweaster” — Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Season 7, Episode 11
The precinct’s annual Halloween heist becomes so elaborate that the contest is delayed six months, landing on Easter. Teams compete for the “Infinitude Gobbler” in a holiday mash-up that folds Halloween, Valentine’s Day, and Easter into one contest. Costumed bunnies rappelling from the roof make this a lively choice for viewers who want a fast-moving ensemble comedy.
4. “North Star” — Black-ish, Season 4
Dre and Bow host their extended families for Easter, and the gathering brings different traditions and family recipes into the same home. The younger Johnsons try to act indifferent to the egg hunt, giving the episode a family-comedy take on the gap between how kids present themselves and what they enjoy.

Peacock lists it as Season 4, Episode 16 and summarizes Amy’s security-system plot on its episode page.
6. “Eggs for Days” — Bob’s Burgers, Season 7
Bob and Linda hide Easter eggs for their children, then lose track of them.
