What was in the photo, and when was it posted?
Victoria Goodwin shared the image on Instagram on February 27, 2025. Us Weekly described it as a cozy photo of the couple snuggling with their cat and reported her caption as “Cuddle puddle with my boys 🩶🩶.” Calling it a “PDA” picture is an interpretation; the reported description is a cuddling photo with their cat. The post does not establish what either spouse knew or believed about the events later alleged by police.

What were the arrest-stage allegations?
The Los Angeles Times said it obtained the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrest report. Its account said police alleged that Victoria had set aside $11,515 and provided information about when and where Aaron could be found while filming in California; the report also described a $2,500 upfront payment. The Times reported that Victoria told police she had fantasized about killing her husband and being with the inmate, but did not remember sending the messages. These were allegations and reported statements at the arrest stage, not the later court outcome.
The Times also reproduced a message attributed in the arrest report to the inmate: “He’s asleep right now in the hotel room. … I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?” That excerpt is the outlet’s account of the police report, rather than a direct quotation from a court transcript.

What was the criminal case outcome?
Victoria later pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder. Courthouse News Service reported that prosecutors dropped the separate solicitation charge under the plea deal and that the court sentenced her on April 23, 2025, to three to 7½ years in prison. This is distinct from the two suspicions reported at the time of her arrest.
At sentencing, Courthouse News Service reported that Victoria told the judge, “This is my rock bottom,” and, “This is not a reflection of who I am.” The outlet also reported Aaron’s testimony: “I can’t trust anything anymore,” and, “I cry every day. I feel so alone.” These are remarks as reported by the service, not a verbatim hearing transcript.
