Its story is set 68 years after the Culling Game, so describing Yuji as an adult is a reasonable inference from the timeline—not wording used in the official volume synopsis.
Does Yuji appear in the Jujutsu Kaisen sequel?
Yes. Shueisha’s official synopsis for Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo volume 3 names Yuji Itadori as appearing in the story. The synopsis establishes his presence, but does not specifically label him “adult.”

| Reading option | Story relevance | Format shown by official listings | Spoiler consideration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Original Jujutsu Kaisen | Provides the earlier story and background for the sequel. | VIZ lists volume 30 as the final volume. | Best starting point if you want to avoid sequel spoilers. |
| Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo | Direct sequel; its volume 3 synopsis names Yuji. | VIZ lists digital chapters; Shueisha lists three collected volumes. | Reading it first may reveal later developments from the original story. |
Is a new Jujutsu Kaisen sequel confirmed?
Modulo itself is the sequel, and official listings document its chapters and collected volumes. The available official announcements and listings do not establish a further sequel beyond it, so claims that another continuation has been confirmed go beyond what those sources show.
