The simplest story-first order is Bleach episodes 1–366, followed by Thousand-Year Blood War Parts 1 through 4. The four movies are optional side stories; watch them in release order if you want the full release-era experience. As of October 4, 2026, the final sequel part, The Calamity, is still releasing.
What order should you watch Bleach in?
For the main television story, watch the original series from episode 1 through episode 366, then continue with the four Thousand-Year Blood War parts in sequence. VIZ confirms that the original anime ran for 366 episodes from 2004 to 2012. That figure covers the original series only, not the continuing sequel.

Parts 1–3 are completed installments. VIZ identifies The Calamity as the final part; its August 28, 2026 update listed subtitled episodes scheduled for October 19 and October 26, and dubbed episodes on later dates in November and December. The part was therefore still releasing on October 4, 2026. Do not treat older franchise-wide episode totals as a final count for the whole anime.

Season names and packaging can differ between services. The following season labels and episode ranges come from a published season guide; for a straightforward watch, follow the episode numbers rather than assuming every streaming platform uses the same season divisions.

The guide’s season list omits episode 151 between its listed ranges for seasons 7 and 8. The simple episode-number order—1 through 366—avoids relying on that season packaging.
Where do the Bleach movies fit?
The movies are not required to follow the television storyline, and their suggested episode placements are approximate release-era viewing points rather than a definitive chronology. Watch them in release order if you want to include all four:

- Bleach: The DiamondDust Rebellion (2007) — commonly placed after episode 153
- Bleach: Fade to Black (2008) — commonly placed after episode 198
- Bleach: Hell Verse (2010) — commonly placed after episode 299
A published viewing guide describes Memories of Nobody as the closest to canon, citing a later manga allusion, and treats the other three as non-canonical adventures. That is the guide’s characterization, not an official ruling that all viewers must use to determine their watch order. VIZ lists a Bleach: 4-Film Collection on Blu-ray and DVD; check the retailer listing for current stock, edition, region, and format.
Should you skip filler arcs?
If you want a shorter, manga-focused pass, a published guide identifies these arcs as filler that you could consider skipping. Whether to skip them is subjective; watching the full original run is also a valid first-time path.

Where to watch Bleach now
Availability depends on country and language. VIZ’s August 28, 2026 update says The Calamity streams weekly on Hulu in the United States and Disney+ internationally. It describes Hulu on Disney+ in the U.S. and Disney+ in select international markets. VIZ lists subtitle and dub languages by territory; check the current local catalog for the version and episodes available to you.

VIZ’s general streaming guidance also notes that catalogs vary by platform, country, and whether a title is dubbed or subtitled. Its July 2026 notice described digital purchase availability for a Parts 1–3 bundle through Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home; that purchase notice is not confirmation that the bundle is currently included with a streaming subscription.
