In 2008, Priscilla Presley’s representative said she was one of the documented victims of Daniel Serrano, a doctor involved in a case over unapproved drugs. The representative said Presley had dealt with the matter years earlier and was well at the time. That statement explains the documented incident behind reports about her face, but it does not establish that every change people perceive in her appearance came from it.
What was publicly confirmed about Presley?
Fox News reported on March 26, 2008, that a statement from Presley’s representative called her “one of many documented victims of Dr. [Daniel] Serrano.” The representative added that an investigation uncovered Serrano’s misconduct and that Presley had dealt with the matter years earlier. The statement was attributed to her representative, not quoted directly from Presley herself. Read Fox News’s 2008 report.
The representative’s statement said “everything is well,” describing Presley’s situation at that time. It should not be treated as an update on her current health.
Who was Daniel Serrano, and what did the case involve?
The Los Angeles Times reported on January 15, 2008, that Daniel Tomas Fuente Serrano pleaded guilty in 2006 to conspiracy, smuggling, and use of unapproved drugs. The newspaper said he was licensed to practice medicine in Argentina but not in California. It reported that his 18-month sentence was reduced by three months on prosecutors’ recommendation because he cooperated. Read the Los Angeles Times account.

What can—and can’t—be concluded about her appearance?
The representative’s statement supports saying Presley was identified as one of Serrano’s victims. The available reporting does not provide a medical diagnosis, a detailed account of what she received, or evidence that every perceived change in her face resulted from that incident. Photographs alone cannot establish a diagnosis or treatment history, and the cited sources do not establish other procedures.
What does the FDA warning say?
In a separate case, a 2017 Department of Justice press release quoted an FDA official saying that liquid silicone products had not been approved for injection into the body for tissue augmentation and that serious harm, including death, can occur. That is general safety context—not evidence about Presley’s individual diagnosis or the precise material she may have received. Read the Department of Justice release.
