Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsYou can run a devotional livestream on YouTube with an encoder such as OBS, then add Hindi and English title and description translations in YouTube Studio. First verify that your channel is eligible, use only content you have permission to broadcast, and test the stream before leaving it unattended. A 24/7 schedule needs a plan for monitoring and recovery: YouTube’s setup guidance does not guarantee uninterrupted broadcasting.
Before you start: check access and rights
Enable live streaming early
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Enabling live streaming for the first time can take up to 24 hours, so complete this check before your planned launch. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance.
Use content you are authorized to broadcast
Prepare devotional audio, video, and visuals for which you have the necessary rights. A bhajan being devotional, publicly available, or credited to its creator does not by itself give you permission to rebroadcast it. YouTube’s livestream terms place responsibility on the broadcaster to obtain the necessary rights, including music licensing rights: YouTube Terms of Service.
YouTube also scans live streams for third-party content. It can replace a stream with a placeholder and issue a warning; if the material remains, the broadcast may be interrupted or terminated. Even licensed content can be interrupted if the rights owner has not allowlisted your channel through Content ID. Review YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams and resolve permissions and allowlisting with the relevant rights holder before going live.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Set up the encoder stream in YouTube Studio
- Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, start a new livestream or schedule one. Choose the encoder workflow rather than a webcam workflow. YouTube’s encoder setup guide covers the available software and hardware routes.
- Copy the connection details. Copy the server URL and stream key shown in Live Control Room into OBS or another encoder. Treat the stream key like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a broadcast to your stream.
- Configure and start your encoder. Set the source media and output according to your encoder’s controls, then start streaming from the encoder. YouTube’s cited setup guidance does not prescribe a particular playlist-looping method, encoder settings, or restart automation for an unattended 24/7 devotional broadcast; verify those details for the encoder and media workflow you choose rather than assuming a setting is a YouTube requirement.
- Check the incoming preview. Wait for the stream to appear in Live Control Room. Check that both picture and sound are correct. If you scheduled the broadcast, use the Live Control Room’s Go live action once the preview is ready.
- Verify the public viewing experience. Open the watch page and check playback on a phone as well as on your main device. Confirm that the intended title and description are visible and that audio and video continue as expected.
Plan the archive separately
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume that one uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast will be archived as a single video. If an archive matters, plan how the broadcast and any recordings will be divided and retained; the cited guidance does not establish a particular recording or segmentation workflow.
Add Hindi and English titles and descriptions
Use YouTube’s language-specific metadata rather than relying only on a single title that contains both languages. Set useful default metadata, then add a translated title and description for each language you want to serve. YouTube says translated metadata can appear in search and may be shown to viewers in the appropriate language.

- In YouTube Studio, open the livestream or its scheduled video details.
- If prompted, set the original language for the video.
- Open the video’s Languages area and add Hindi or English.
- In the Title and description area for that language, enter the translated title and description, then publish the translation.
- Repeat for the other language. Check both language versions for accuracy and make sure the default title and description are useful to viewers who do not see a translation.
See YouTube’s instructions for adding translated video titles and descriptions. Keep devotional names, artist or tradition names, and any rights or attribution information accurate in both versions. Translation makes metadata available in another language; it does not translate the audio itself.
Test the setup and monitor the broadcast
A successful preview is a useful check, not a guarantee that an unattended stream will stay live. Before relying on a 24/7 schedule, test the same encoder, connection, media, and YouTube settings you intend to use.

- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
- Check upload capacity. YouTube recommends roughly 20% headroom above the stream bitrate for outbound upload capacity. This is a recommendation, not an uptime guarantee. See YouTube’s streaming tips.
- Inspect Live Control Room. Confirm the incoming preview appears and watch for stream-health alerts before making the broadcast public.
- Test representative material. Include the kinds of audio and motion used in the devotional program so you can catch problems that a static test screen might not reveal.
- Check more than one device. Verify the public watch page and mobile playback, not only the encoder preview.
- Monitor audio and video over time. Confirm that the sound remains audible and the picture continues as intended. If you make a local recording, check that its file is actually growing.
- Decide how you will notice and recover from a drop. The official setup guidance does not specify a universal restart procedure for every encoder. Choose and test a recovery method for your setup, and do not treat a live preview at launch as proof of continuous operation.
Choose a way to keep the stream running
The right approach depends on cost, operator skill, automation and recovery needs, and whether it supports your chosen input and streaming protocol. YouTube supports software and hardware encoder routes and lists cloud encoding among verified options; the cited guidance does not establish comparable prices or say one category is best for 24/7 devotional programming.
| Approach | What it means | Considerations |
|---|---|---|
| Software encoder on a computer you already have | Run OBS or another encoder on an existing computer and send its output to YouTube. | You control the encoder setup and need to account for the computer, its connection, and monitoring. The YouTube guide does not specify a minimum computer model or hardware specification. |
| Dedicated hardware encoder or computer | Use a separate device for the broadcast rather than your everyday computer. | This is an optional operational choice, not a YouTube requirement. Consider the additional device cost and who will monitor or recover the stream. |
| Cloud encoding or streaming service | Use a cloud-based service to send content to YouTube without keeping an encoder computer running at home. | Compare how it handles your inputs, continuous operation, recovery, support, and billing. YouTube’s list of verified options includes cloud encoding, but that alone does not establish suitability for your specific program. |
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Each slot streams the uploaded quality as-is, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; StreamNeo also provides automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. The monthly option is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo plays uploaded videos rather than broadcasting a camera feed, and supports YouTube only. To try it, start your free first day.
