Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTo loop a finished YouTube gaming livestream, open its replay and turn on the player’s Loop or Repeat control. The broadcast must be available as a replay first; looping cannot bring back a video the channel has not posted or has removed.
Check that the livestream replay is available
After a livestream ends, its channel may post a replay or highlights, but an archive is not guaranteed. YouTube notes that a channel may post a replay or highlights after a livestream ends: Learn about live streams. Visit the channel or open the stream’s watch page and look for a playable video. If no replay is available, there is nothing to loop.
Loop one gaming livestream replay
On a computer
- Open the replay’s YouTube watch page and start playback.
- Right-click inside the video player.
- Select Loop from the player menu. The replay should start again automatically when it reaches the end.
On Android
- Open the replay in the YouTube app and tap the video to show its controls.
- Tap the player’s settings, then choose Additional settings.
- Tap Loop video.
On a TV or gaming console
- Start the replay in the YouTube app.
- Use the remote or controller to show the on-screen playback controls.
- Select Repeat. The label and its location can vary by device and app version.
YouTube’s controls and menus can change, so if a label is not where expected, check the player controls and the device-specific settings.
Loop several replays with a playlist
- Create or open a playlist containing the livestream replay videos you want to watch.
- Start playback from the playlist.
- Turn on the playlist’s loop control.
- Check the loop indicator: some mobile controls can switch between repeating the whole playlist and repeating only the current video.
If only one replay repeats, change the mode so the playlist itself loops rather than just the selected item.

Replay looping is not live DVR
Looping applies to a completed replay video. DVR is a separate feature for pausing, rewinding, and resuming while a broadcast is still live. YouTube says DVR capabilities may be limited or unavailable for livestreams longer than 12 hours; that caveat concerns live DVR, not how long a replay can loop. See YouTube’s DVR guidance.
YouTube’s Live Streaming API describes a completed broadcast as being converted to a YouTube video with a video ID. If the channel makes that video available, you can play and loop it like other videos. The API documentation is available at LiveBroadcasts.

Troubleshooting
- The replay is missing: The channel may not have posted an archive, may have posted highlights instead, or the video may no longer be available. A playback setting cannot restore an unavailable replay.
- The Loop or Repeat control is missing: Start playback and expose the player controls; on a computer, try right-clicking the video. On a TV or console, inspect the on-screen playback menu. Menu names can differ by device.
- The playlist repeats one replay instead of advancing: Switch the repeat mode from the current video to the playlist, if that option is available.
- You want to rewind a stream that is still live: Look for DVR playback controls. DVR is not the way to repeat a finished broadcast, and YouTube warns it may be limited or unavailable on streams longer than 12 hours.
For creators: continuously broadcasting uploaded videos is a different task
If you mean keeping a YouTube channel broadcasting continuously from uploaded videos—not replaying a finished stream for your own viewing—StreamNeo is a separate cloud service for that creator workflow. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live; StreamNeo loops the uploaded content from the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not need to stay on. It is not needed for the playback steps above.
Or let it run in the cloud
For continuous YouTube playback of uploaded videos, the steps are: upload your video or playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; uploaded video streams at its original quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot. StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. Start the free day with StreamNeo.
