शुरू करने से पहले: चैनल, macOS और OBS जाँचें
- YouTube Live सक्षम करें: चैनल की live-stream eligibility जाँचें। पहली बार लाइव स्ट्रीमिंग सक्षम होने में 24 घंटे तक लग सकते हैं। YouTube के live-stream tips के अनुसार चैनल verified होना चाहिए और पिछले 90 दिनों में उस पर live-stream restrictions नहीं होनी चाहिए। विवरण encoder guide और live-stream tips में हैं।
- OBS और macOS की संगतता देखें: OBS की system requirements Mac पर Intel या Apple silicon CPU, OpenGL 3.3-compatible GPU और macOS 11 या बाद का संस्करण बताती हैं। न्यूनतम requirements पूरी होना आपके चुने encoder, resolution, FPS और scenes के लिए पर्याप्त प्रदर्शन की गारंटी नहीं है। OBS system requirements देखें।
- Mac पर OBS स्थापित करें: OBS की Mac installation guide के अनुसार macOS DMG डाउनलोड करें और ऐप को Applications folder में रखें। अपने macOS release के लिए कौन-सा OBS version समर्थित है, यह OBS की macOS versions तालिका में जाँचें; versions बदलने पर दोबारा देखना उपयोगी है।
- कंटेंट और अधिकार तैयार रखें: स्ट्रीम में इस्तेमाल किए गए वीडियो, संगीत और अन्य सामग्री के लिए आपके पास आवश्यक अधिकार या अनुमति होनी चाहिए। किसी सामग्री का पहले से YouTube पर उपलब्ध होना अपने-आप प्रसारण की अनुमति नहीं देता। YouTube की लागू copyright और monetization नीतियाँ देखें और किसी और की सामग्री को बिना अनुमति प्रसारित न करें।
OBS से YouTube Live सेटअप: चरण-दर-चरण
- YouTube Live Control Room में stream बनाएँ: YouTube Studio में Live Control Room खोलकर नई stream सेट करें। वहाँ से stream URL और stream key लें। YouTube stream key को उस credential की तरह समझाता है जो encoder को feed भेजने देता है। इसे पासवर्ड की तरह निजी रखें; इसे सार्वजनिक न करें और स्क्रीनशॉट में न दिखाएँ। निर्देश: Manage live stream settings।
- OBS में YouTube सेवा चुनें: OBS में Settings > Stream खोलें और सेवा/preset में YouTube चुनें। उपलब्ध विकल्प के अनुसार stream key भरें या YouTube द्वारा दिए गए server/URL और key को दर्ज करें। यदि OBS में RTMPS विकल्प उपलब्ध हो, सामान्य setup के लिए उसे प्राथमिकता दें। YouTube RTMPS को TLS/SSL से encrypted RTMP बताता है और इसकी सिफारिश करता है: RTMPS guidance।
- Video और scene तैयार करें: OBS में आवश्यक दृश्य (scene) और स्रोत (source) जोड़ें, फिर Settings > Video में base canvas, output resolution और FPS चुनें। Output resolution आपके प्रसारण का आकार तय करता है; यदि canvas और output अलग हों, OBS scaling कर सकता है। अपने वास्तविक कंटेंट—जैसे स्थिर चित्र, स्लाइड या चलती फुटेज—के साथ परीक्षण करें।
- Encoder और bitrate चुनें: Settings > Output में streaming encoder और bitrate सेट करें। YouTube H.264 के लिए CBR और 2 सेकंड का keyframe interval सुझाता है; keyframe interval 4 सेकंड से अधिक न रखें। YouTube के प्रकाशित H.264 bitrate targets नीचे दिए हैं।
- Audio जाँचें: OBS में सही microphone या desktop-audio स्रोत चुनें, meter में signal देखें और preview सुनें। यदि stream में केवल prerecorded content या स्थिर दृश्य हैं, तब भी यह सुनिश्चित करें कि अनचाहा microphone/desktop audio शामिल न हो।
- पहले private या unlisted test करें: OBS में Start Streaming दबाएँ, फिर Live Control Room में preview और stream-health संदेश देखें। तस्वीर, आवाज, framing और स्थिरता जाँचें। सब ठीक होने पर YouTube की visibility और start controls से public broadcast शुरू करें।
- लंबे प्रसारण की निगरानी करें: stream चलते समय OBS का connection/statistics संकेत और YouTube Live Control Room की stream health देखते रहें। प्रसारण समाप्त करना हो तो YouTube के workflow के अनुसार stream खत्म करें और OBS में streaming रोकें।
YouTube के bitrate और encoder targets
ये H.264 के लिए YouTube Help में प्रकाशित न्यूनतम और अनुशंसित वीडियो bitrate हैं। YouTube के मूल पेज पर प्रकाशन का वर्ष प्रदर्शित नहीं है। इन्हें शुरुआती लक्ष्य समझें, गारंटी नहीं: वास्तविक जरूरत वीडियो की गति, codec, audio और नेटवर्क की स्थिरता से बदलती है। YouTube encoder settings देखें।

YouTube 60 fps तक frame rate बताता है, H.264 के लिए CBR और 2 सेकंड का recommended keyframe interval सुझाता है, और keyframe interval को 4 सेकंड से अधिक न रखने को कहता है। इंटरनेट पर upload क्षमता के लिए YouTube कुल bitrate के ऊपर 20% headroom रखने की सलाह देता है। उदाहरण के लिए, यदि वीडियो bitrate 8 Mbps है, तो audio सहित कुल bitrate पर विचार करें और उसके ऊपर अतिरिक्त margin रखें; केवल speed-test के एक peak परिणाम पर निर्भर न हों। YouTube streaming tips।

RTMPS या HLS: किसे चुनें?

आम समस्याएँ और उनके उपाय
- Live stream शुरू करने का विकल्प नहीं दिखता: चैनल की verification और live eligibility जाँचें। पहली बार सक्षम करने के बाद YouTube को 24 घंटे तक लग सकते हैं; चैनल पर live restrictions हों तो वे भी बाधा बन सकती हैं।
- YouTube को OBS feed नहीं मिल रही: stream key और URL की तुलना Live Control Room से करें, OBS में सही सेवा/preset चुनें और key को बिना अतिरिक्त रिक्त स्थान के दोबारा दर्ज करें। Key को सार्वजनिक न करें।
- Stream health में bitrate या connection समस्या: upload speed वास्तविक स्थान पर फिर मापें, कुल bitrate पर 20% headroom रखें और bitrate घटाकर परीक्षण करें। आवश्यक हो तो resolution या FPS कम करें।
- वीडियो अटकता है या OBS frames खोता है: जाँचें कि Mac mini चुने encoder और scene complexity को संभाल रहा है या नहीं। कम resolution/FPS या हल्का scene आजमाएँ; Apple silicon और Intel पर उपलब्ध hardware encoding का व्यवहार अलग हो सकता है।
- स्ट्रीम तो चल रही है, पर आवाज़ नहीं है: OBS audio mixer में सही source चुनें, mute स्थिति और meter देखें, फिर private/unlisted test में playback सुनें।
- लंबे समय बाद stream रुक जाती है: यह मानकर न चलें कि OBS या Mac mini अपने-आप हर outage से उबर जाएगा। Mac mini की power/sleep स्थिति, OBS का चलना, इंटरनेट और YouTube Live Control Room की स्थिति जाँचें। स्थिरता की पुष्टि के लिए वास्तविक लंबे परीक्षण आवश्यक हैं।
