You can run a 24/7 Shiva mantra stream on YouTube from India by enabling live streaming on a verified channel, preparing a rights-cleared audio-and-video feed, and sending it to YouTube with a suitable broadcast method. For a repeating recording rather than a live performance, an encoder or cloud playout service can keep the feed going; neither removes your responsibility to clear the recording and visuals. Test the full stream before launch, monitor YouTube Studio, and arrange chat moderation or disable chat.
Decide what “24/7 chanting” means for your channel
A continuous YouTube broadcast can feature a person chanting live, or it can play a recording on repeat. The production and rights questions differ: a live performance needs a dependable continuous setup, while a loop requires permission to rebroadcast the specific recording and every visual in the feed. A recording’s devotional subject does not by itself make it free to use.
This is a public broadcast, not simply personal listening. Before choosing a setup, identify who owns the performance, the sound recording, any accompanying composition, and the images or video you plan to show.
Enable YouTube Live before planning the launch
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restriction during the previous 90 days. YouTube for Artists advises enabling your first live stream at least 24 hours before the planned broadcast. Check access in YouTube Studio and allow time to resolve any eligibility or setup issue rather than preparing to go live at the last minute. Choose a way to send the stream
YouTube supports mobile, webcam, encoder, and console streaming. For an always-on audiovisual feed, an encoder is a practical option when you want control over the video layout, audio input, or production hardware. YouTube’s guidance does not mandate a particular encoder, computer specification, bitrate, or configuration for 24/7 broadcasting; choose settings supported by your encoder and connection, and verify the result with a test stream. A computer-based encoder depends on the computer, power, and internet connection remaining available. A cloud playout service can instead send an uploaded recording without requiring your home computer to stay on. The two approaches shift where the stream runs, but neither resolves music or image rights.

Clear the chant recording and every visual
YouTube says, “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” If it detects copyrighted material, it may replace the video with a placeholder, interrupt the broadcast, or terminate it. YouTube also warns that a stream may be interrupted even when you have licensed third-party content if the rights owner has not added your channel to its Content ID allowlist. - Confirm permission covers the exact sound recording and performance you intend to broadcast, not merely the chant or song title.
- Clear any underlying composition where applicable, and obtain permission for photographs, artwork, footage, or other visuals.
- Ask the rights owner or its label or distributor to allowlist your YouTube channel in Content ID when needed. YouTube for Artists recommends coordinating with a label or distributor when using copyright-protected music in a live stream.
- Keep records of licences and permissions, including the channel and uses they cover. A licence is not a guarantee against automated interruption if allowlisting has not been completed.

Prepare, test, and operate the broadcast
- Build the feed. Prepare the chant audio and a visual you are entitled to use. Check that the audio is audible and consistent, and that the picture is intentional rather than an accidental blank or private scene.
- Set up the broadcast in YouTube Studio. Create or schedule the live stream and use the stream key and connection details provided for the broadcast in your encoder. Treat the stream key as private; anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your channel.
- Test privately or unlisted. Send the complete feed before the public launch. Check sound, picture, encoder connection, and YouTube Studio for warnings or interruptions. A short successful test confirms that the setup works at that moment; it does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
- Schedule and announce it. Give viewers the start time and what to expect. If the stream is meant to run continuously, be clear that it may be affected by technical interruptions.
- Plan chat moderation. Assign a moderator who can watch chat, or turn chat off if nobody can manage it. Do not assume a 24/7 broadcast can be safely left unattended just because its video feed is automated.
- Monitor Studio after launch. Check for stream warnings, content matches, and service interruptions. Have a way to regain access to the encoder or cloud service and restart or correct the feed when necessary.

On 7 July 2026, YouTube announced that Gifts were launching in India for eligible creators. Eligible creators can enable Gifts in Studio; YouTube says enabling Gifts removes access to Super Stickers on live streams. Availability depends on eligibility, and the announcement does not establish likely earnings from a Shiva mantra stream. YouTube’s India blog

YouTube’s announcement also cited internal data that the number of Indian YouTube channels earning seven figures or more in INR revenue was up by over 20% year over year as of December 2025. That figure covers channels broadly; it is not a viewership or earnings estimate for devotional livestreams.

Troubleshoot common problems
- You cannot start a live stream: confirm the channel is verified, check for a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days, and allow the advised 24 hours for first-time activation.
- The broadcast is interrupted after starting: inspect YouTube Studio for warnings or content matches. Check that your permissions cover the recording and visuals, then contact the rights owner about Content ID allowlisting if you have a licence but the stream is still flagged.
- The feed stops when you leave: a local encoder relies on the computer and its connection staying active. Use a setup designed to remain running, or move uploaded-video playout to a cloud service.
- Viewers report missing or poor audio/video: check the feed at its source and in the Studio preview, then verify the encoder is sending the intended audio and visual inputs. Repeat a private or unlisted test after making a change.
- Chat becomes difficult to manage: appoint a moderator or disable chat when nobody is available to supervise it.
