Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsTo run recorded homework tutorials as a 24/7 YouTube live stream, create a YouTube Live stream and send it a continuous video feed from an encoder. The encoder plays your tutorial files in sequence and repeats them. You can run it on a computer that stays powered and connected, or use a cloud service that streams uploaded videos without keeping your computer on. Scheduling the stream in YouTube Studio creates an upcoming watch page; it does not start or supply the video feed.
What you need before you start
- A YouTube channel that is eligible for live streaming. YouTube says the channel must be verified, have no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days, and be operated by someone at least 16 years old. Check the channel’s current feature access in YouTube Studio, since access depends on channel status. YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance has the current requirements.
- Recorded tutorials and permission to broadcast every video and audio element in them.
- An encoder that can send a live feed to YouTube and play a playlist in sequence and repeat it—or a cloud playlist service that does that for you.
- A stable connection and a way to monitor stream health, picture, and sound.
A prerecorded playlist only becomes a live stream when an encoder sends it as a live feed. You cannot simply queue existing YouTube uploads and designate them as live.
Prepare the tutorials and playlist
Check rights and lesson quality
Use lessons, narration, diagrams, music, and examples that you created or have permission to broadcast. A tutorial may include third-party material even if the explanation is yours—for example, music in the background, a textbook page, or a clip used to introduce a problem. YouTube’s livestream terms require the necessary rights for live content, including applicable music rights. See YouTube’s Terms of Service.
Make the loop useful to students
Group lessons by subject, level, or problem type so viewers can tell what they are watching and find relevant help when they join mid-stream. Give the stream a clear title and description, and say plainly that it consists of prerecorded tutorials that repeat. This organization is a viewer-friendly choice, not a YouTube setup requirement.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Before uploading, watch the files through for accurate explanations, legible writing, clean audio, and transitions that still make sense when the playlist returns to its first lesson. A continuous broadcast can expose a mistaken or incomplete tutorial repeatedly, so fix problems in the source files rather than relying on the loop to hide them.
Create the YouTube Live stream
- Open Live Control Room. In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live.
- Start now or schedule ahead. Use the Stream tab to set up a new stream, or open Manage → Schedule Stream to plan one in advance. Scheduling can create an upcoming watch page and let viewers opt into reminders, but the encoder still has to send the feed before the broadcast begins.
- Set the public-facing details. Add a descriptive title and description. Be clear that the lessons are prerecorded and loop, and choose the audience and visibility settings that fit the channel and its content.
- Copy the connection details. In the stream setup, copy YouTube’s server URL and stream key into your encoder. Treat the stream key like a password: someone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your channel. Do not publish it or include it in tutorial files or public notes.
YouTube says the encoder creates the watch page when it begins sending content. Creating or scheduling a stream in Studio alone does not make the prerecorded videos play.

Choose where the playlist runs
| Approach | Best fit | What you must manage |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo — first cloud option | You want uploaded tutorials to loop on YouTube without leaving a home computer online. | Upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. StreamNeo runs the feed from its cloud; it offers any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and the first day is free. |
| Local computer and encoder | You already have a suitable computer and want direct control over playback and stream settings. | Keep the computer powered, connected, and running the encoder. You are responsible for the playlist, playback, and recovery if the encoder or connection stops. |
| Another cloud playlist service | You prefer a provider-hosted workflow and have reviewed its current terms and capabilities. | Check current pricing, file and playlist limits, retention, supported formats, reconnect behavior, and privacy terms with the provider. These details vary by service. |
A dedicated mini PC is optional, not a YouTube requirement. An existing compatible computer may be enough for local operation; cloud streaming is an alternative if you do not want personal hardware running continuously.
Local method: send a looping playlist from your computer
- Choose an encoder with playlist playback. Confirm that it can play your tutorial files in order, repeat the playlist, and stream to a custom YouTube destination. The exact controls depend on the encoder you choose; YouTube’s setup guide covers connecting an encoder but does not prescribe one playlist application.
- Set the destination. Paste the YouTube server URL and stream key into the encoder’s streaming or broadcast settings. Keep the key private.
- Load and configure the playlist. Add the tutorial files in the intended order and enable repeat or loop playback. Check that the playlist advances automatically and returns to the first item when it finishes.
- Choose video and audio settings the encoder and source files can sustain. There is no single bitrate, resolution, or keyframe interval that fits every source and connection. Use settings supported by your encoder and connection, then check YouTube’s stream health and encoder messages. Do not assume that a successful connection means every lesson is playing or audible.
- Start the encoder and verify the watch page. Begin sending the feed, wait for YouTube to receive it, and check the picture and sound on the channel’s watch page. Test playback on a phone as well as the device used for setup.
- Keep the host available. Leave the computer on, prevent sleep or shutdown, keep the encoder running, and maintain network access. If the host loses power or connectivity, the local feed can stop.
YouTube’s encoder instructions say streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That is an archive rule, not a stated maximum duration for a live stream. For a continuous broadcast, separately check how your encoder handles long-running playback, interruptions, and any archive or replay needs.

Test the stream and keep watch
Before you announce a 24/7 schedule, run a representative test with audio and movement similar to the lessons you plan to broadcast. YouTube recommends testing with similar content and checking stream health and messages. Its live-streaming tips also recommend checking the channel or watch page, testing mobile access, and monitoring audio and video quality. See YouTube’s encoder settings guidance and live-streaming tips.
- Confirm the correct playlist item is visible and the narration is audible.
- Check that the picture and text are readable on a phone, not just a desktop monitor.
- Watch the transition between lessons and the playlist’s return to its beginning.
- Check YouTube’s stream health and encoder messages for problems before treating the setup as ready.
For a long-running broadcast, decide who will notice a failure and what recovery looks like. YouTube’s setup and monitoring guidance does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and the recovery process depends on whether you use a local encoder or a cloud provider.

Copyright, originality, and monetization
Broadcast rights still apply to prerecorded material
Recording a tutorial in advance does not exempt it from YouTube’s live-content rules. Use original material or obtain the required permissions for third-party content, including music. If a lesson includes copyrighted examples, make sure your rights cover broadcasting them in a live stream; owning the recording does not automatically mean you own every element inside it.
A repeated playlist is not automatically monetizable
YouTube’s monetization policies apply to live streams. In a notice dated July 15, 2025, YouTube said it renamed its “repetitious content” policy to “inauthentic content” to clarify that repetitive or mass-produced content is ineligible; YouTube said the content was already ineligible under its existing policy. The policy says monetized content should be original and authentic, rather than mass-produced, generic, repetitive, or manipulative. As YouTube puts it: “Be your original creation. If you borrow content from someone else, you need to change it significantly to make it your own.” Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies. A loop is a way to distribute lessons, not a shortcut around originality review.
If a channel is eligible, monetization options can include ads, Super Chat and Super Stickers, and channel memberships. Ads are not guaranteed to serve in every slot, so stream duration alone is not a reliable basis for forecasting revenue. YouTube reported an average uplift of over 20% in instream ad revenue per hour for channels that enabled live automatic mid-roll ads compared with channels that did not, averaged across 207 countries in January 2024. That is a historical platform-reported comparison, not a prediction for a new homework stream. See YouTube’s live-stream monetization guidance and its 2024 live-stream ads announcement.
Quick Recap
Troubleshoot common problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| The scheduled page exists, but no video appears. | Scheduling made the watch page, but the encoder has not started sending a feed. | Start the encoder and confirm it is using the correct YouTube server URL and stream key. |
| YouTube does not receive the encoder feed. | The connection details may be wrong, or the encoder may not be sending. | Check the copied server URL and key in the encoder, then review YouTube’s stream-health messages. |
| The stream starts but the lesson is silent or shows the wrong file. | The playlist or media playback configuration is incorrect. | Test the source file and audio locally, verify playlist order and repeat settings, then confirm what appears and can be heard on the watch page. |
| The stream stops when nobody is at the computer. | A local host may have slept, lost power or network, or stopped running the encoder. | Check host power and sleep settings, network availability, and encoder status. A cloud playlist service avoids dependence on a personal computer staying online. |
| A lesson triggers a rights or monetization concern. | A tutorial may contain unlicensed third-party material, or repeated content may not meet monetization originality rules. | Review rights for every included element and assess the channel against YouTube’s live-content and monetization policies before continuing or applying for monetization. |
