For a YouTube channel that needs to play uploaded product-demo videos around the clock, StreamNeo is the first service to consider: it loops uploaded videos from the cloud, supports the files as uploaded up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers a free first day. Gyre and Upstream are also listed by YouTube for 24/7 cloud streaming, while AWS Elemental MediaLive and Google Cloud Live Stream API are more relevant to managed broadcast processing or API-driven workflows. The available service descriptions establish fit, not comparative uptime, quality or value.

Which cloud service fits a 24/7 product-demo stream?

The right choice depends on whether you are replaying finished clips, hosting a live product demonstration, or building a managed broadcast pipeline. For a loop of uploaded product-demo footage, choose a service that explicitly supports cloud playback of pre-recorded video. A live camera or studio feed requires a different workflow, and an API-managed broadcast may demand more technical setup.

StreamNeo is the recommended starting point for a finished-video loop: upload a recording or create a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It runs in the cloud, so your computer does not need to remain on.

Services at a glance

Service Best fit indicated by its description What is established What to verify
StreamNeo Cloud looping of uploaded YouTube videos One always-on stream per slot; playlists and 24/7 looping; uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps; automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. Whether its workflow and current plan suit your channel and storage needs.
Gyre Cloud playback of pre-recorded video YouTube’s verified-encoder directory describes it as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 streaming of pre-recorded videos without a camera or dedicated PC. Current output limits, plan terms, recovery behavior, price and support.
Upstream Pre-recorded loops or a production that also needs live-studio features YouTube lists it for 24/7 cloud streaming. Its own page describes uploaded-video playback, scheduling, browser-based studio features and multistreaming; it advertised a free plan with 24 hours per month when accessed on October 3, 2026. Whether the advertised free allowance and desired features remain available, plus current limits and prices.
AWS Elemental MediaLive Managed live-video processing in a more engineered pipeline YouTube’s verified-encoder directory describes broadcast-grade live processing up to 4Kp60 HEVC. How to build continuous file playout with it, along with setup requirements and total cost.
Google Cloud Live Stream API Teams building an API-managed video-processing workflow Google documents a 24-hour session limit: a channel in a streaming state may be restarted after 24 hours. The service also has regional quotas and input/output limits. Regional availability, quotas, implementation work and restart handling.

YouTube’s verified-encoder listing is evidence that a service is relevant to a workflow, not an endorsement of comparative reliability or a guarantee of uptime. The sources available for these services do not establish a side-by-side reliability, support, ease-of-use or value ranking. Comparable current prices and full plan limits are not established here; confirm them with each provider before purchasing.

  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

Choose by the footage and production you need

Loop finished product-demo clips

If you have edited demonstrations, product close-ups or feature walkthroughs ready to publish, focus on cloud services that accept uploaded videos and play them continuously. StreamNeo, Gyre and Upstream describe this kind of workflow. For a simple loop, browser studios, guest tools and multistreaming may be unnecessary extras; prioritize playlist behavior, supported media formats, storage, stream recovery and the output quality you need.

Present a live demonstration

If someone will speak to viewers and show a product live, use a live camera, screen or studio feed rather than assuming a pre-recorded playback feature is a substitute. Upstream describes browser-based studio features; cloud playback services can also keep finished clips running between live events if their scheduling features meet your needs. A webcam and microphone are optional equipment for a presenter-led stream, not requirements for looping uploaded clips.

Build a managed or API-based broadcast

AWS Elemental MediaLive may suit a team that needs managed broadcast processing, while Google Cloud Live Stream API is an API-managed route. Neither description alone proves that either is a simple continuous video-loop service. Assess the engineering effort, regional resource quotas, output limits and restart behavior before choosing this path.

Set up the YouTube side before going live

  1. Enable live streaming early. YouTube says first-time live-stream enablement may take up to 24 hours, so do not leave activation until the scheduled launch.
  2. Create the stream in YouTube Studio. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create a stream. If viewers need a planned event page, create a scheduled stream there; scheduling the YouTube event and operating the cloud encoder are related but separate parts of the workflow.
  3. Connect the encoder. YouTube’s encoder setup uses a Live server URL and stream key. Enter those in the cloud service’s YouTube connection settings. Treat the stream key like a password: do not publish it, share it in screenshots or place it in public documents. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio and update the connected service.
  4. Check video and audio before making the stream public. Confirm the service accepts your files, the playlist order is correct, the YouTube event is set as intended, and the stream preview has the expected picture and sound. A presenter-led demo also needs a tested camera, microphone and lighting setup.
  5. Plan for the archive. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume the same automatic archive behavior for a single uninterrupted stream lasting longer. If you need a replay, plan shorter sessions or separately retain and publish the original demo footage.

YouTube’s Live Streaming API distinguishes the broadcast, which is the event viewers watch, from the live stream, which is the audio/video feed; a broadcast is associated with one live stream. That distinction is useful when troubleshooting a scheduled watch page separately from the encoder connection.

Copyright and channel suitability matter for product footage

Use footage, music, voiceovers, logos and other material that you have the right to stream. A continuous loop does not make copyrighted music or third-party video safe to rebroadcast. Review YouTube’s current live-streaming and channel policies before launch, and check that your demo adds useful context rather than relying on repetitive or minimally changed material. The sources available here do not establish a special exemption for product demos or guarantee how YouTube will assess a particular channel.

For a camera-led presentation, a webcam can be useful if its resolution, framing, lighting and connection work for your setup. It is not needed when a cloud service is simply playing uploaded clips, and buying one will not keep an uploaded-video stream running continuously.
