VPS setup mein kya hota hai?
VPS ek rented server hai jo internet par chalta rehta hai. Aapki video file VPS par hoti hai; FFmpeg ya OBS usse encode karke YouTube ke ingest endpoint par bhejta hai. YouTube Live Control Room stream ko receive karta hai aur viewers watch page par dekhte hain. VPS khud broadcast nahi banata—woh source media aur encoder process host karta hai.
Is guide ka main workflow prerecorded video ko loop karne ke liye hai. Camera ya interactive live input ke liye source aur encoder configuration alag hogi. Aam VPS setup mein RTMPS use karein: YouTube ise encrypted RTMP ke roop mein batata hai (YouTube Help: Encrypt your stream using RTMPS). Shuru karne se pehle kya chahiye?
- Ek YouTube channel jisme live streaming enabled ho. YouTube ke mutabik pehli baar feature enable karne mein 24 ghante tak lag sakte hain; har account ke liye itna wait zaroori nahi hota (YouTube Help: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder).
- VPS par supported Linux distribution ya aisa desktop environment jahan OBS chala sakein, saath mein media ke liye disk space.
- FFmpeg (simple prerecorded loop ke liye) ya OBS (scenes aur multiple sources ko graphical tareeke se set karne ke liye).
- YouTube Live Control Room se stream URL aur stream key. Key ko password ki tarah rakhein; ise public screenshot, command history, repository ya logs mein expose na karein.
- VPS plan jiska sustained upload, monthly transfer allowance aur CPU aapki bitrate aur encoding method ke liye kaafi ho.

Step 1: YouTube Live stream banayein
- YouTube Studio kholein, Create → Go Live par jayein, phir naya stream banayein ya schedule karein.
- Live Control Room mein stream URL/RTMPS server address aur stream key copy karein. Encoder settings mein wahi values daalni hongi. YouTube pehle istemal ki gayi stream settings dobara load karne ka option bhi deta hai.
- Title, visibility, audience aur doosri stream details set karein. Stream public karne se pehle video, audio aur rights ki jaanch karein.
- Stream key ko sirf VPS ke restricted configuration mein rakhein. Agar key leak ho jaye, Live Control Room mein use reset/rotate karein aur encoder ko nayi key dein.
Step 2: VPS ko taiyar karein aur source file rakhein
Server par OS updates lagayein, FFmpeg install karein, aur video ko server par upload karke uska path verify karein. Media file ka naam simple rakhein, jaise /srv/live/program.mp4. Confirm karein ki VPS user file padh sakta hai aur disk mein poore media ke liye jagah hai. OBS chunne par pehle remote desktop aur OBS ka display/scene setup test karein; GUI istemal karne se resource needs badal sakti hain.
India ke liye kisi ek VPS provider ko yahan winner nahi kaha ja sakta: provider aur plan ke current region, YouTube ingest route, sustained upload terms, transfer cap, CPU performance, support policy aur total cost ko kharidne se pehle verify karein. Sirf advertised port speed ya “unlimited” label se continuous workload ki suitability sabit nahi hoti.
Step 3: FFmpeg se prerecorded video loop karein
Yeh Linux shell ka ek basic example hai. Apne server par installed FFmpeg, file path aur YouTube Live Control Room ke current RTMPS endpoint ke mutabik command adjust karein. `YOUR_STREAM_KEY` placeholder ko apni asli key se replace karein; real key ko kisi shared command, screenshot ya public log mein na chhodein.

Bitrate aur resolution kaise chunen
Bitrate resolution, frame rate, motion aur source quality ke hisab se set karein; har video ke liye ek hi sahi number nahi hota. Upload capacity mein headroom rakhein, taaki server lagataar bitrate bhej sake. Agar upload link ya ingest unstable ho, bitrate ghata kar test karein. Resolution ya frame rate badhane se encoding load aur data transfer dono badh sakte hain. VPS guide ke neeche diye gaye size estimates vendor ke examples hain, universal minimum ya independently tested requirements nahi.
Step 4: OBS se stream karein (agar graphical scenes chahiye)
- VPS par desktop environment aur OBS install karein; remote desktop se connect hokar scene banayein aur prerecorded media source add karein.
- OBS ke stream settings mein YouTube/Custom server option chun kar Live Control Room ka RTMPS URL aur stream key bharein. Exact UI label OBS version ke mutabik badal sakta hai.
- Output settings mein encoding, bitrate, resolution aur keyframe interval ko apne source, CPU aur YouTube ki current guidance ke hisab se set karein. Software encoder use kar rahe hain to CPU load dekhte rahen.
- Stream start karein, Live Control Room mein preview/status aane ka intezar karein, phir agar scheduled workflow maange to wahan se Go Live karein.
OBS VPS par chalane ke liye desktop, remote access aur zyada resources ki zaroorat ho sakti hai; agar bas ek prerecorded file loop karni hai to command-line FFmpeg seedha raasta hai.

Step 5: Live preview jaanchein, phir broadcast control karein
Encoder output start karne ke baad Live Control Room mein incoming preview aur stream status dekhein. Audio, framing, playback, title aur visibility verify karne ke baad scheduled workflow mein Go Live dabayein, agar zaroori ho. Stream ko jaanboojhkar band karne ke liye encoder output stop karein; YouTube ke encoder workflow ke mutabik encoder output rukne par stream end hoti hai. YouTube kehta hai ki 12 ghante se kam ke streams automatically archive honge; 12 ghante se lambi stream ke liye automatic archive maan kar na chalein, aur archive zaroori ho to duration ko us seema ke andar plan karein.
24/7 operation: restart, logs aur monitoring
Shell mein command chala dena unattended service ke barabar nahi. Production setup mein process supervisor (jaise systemd), restart policy, logs, disk checks aur alerting rakhein. YouTube-side broadcast aur VPS-side encoder process ek hi cheez nahi hain: process restart ke baad wahi viewer broadcast hamesha bina interruption ke continue hoga, iski guarantee na maanein. Recovery ko pehle private ya unlisted test stream se aazmayein.

Data transfer ka rough decimal hisaab: bitrate in Mbps × 10.8 = lagbhag GB per 30-day month, agar stream 24/7 chale; protocol overhead iske alawa hai. Misal ke liye 2.5 Mbps par arithmetic se lagbhag 27 GB/day, ya 30 din mein 810 GB banta hai. Space-Node apni 2026 VPS guide mein 2,500 kbps par takriban 1 TB/month ka estimate deta hai—ye vendor estimate hai, guarantee nahi; actual usage bitrate aur uptime se badlega.
- VPS ka data transfer cap aur overage charge dekhein.

Copyright, reused content aur channel policy
Sirf VPS par video host karne ya use live loop karne se aapko us video ke rights nahi milte. Broadcast se pehle music, footage, images aur doosre material ke liye zaroori permissions lein aur YouTube ki applicable copyright aur monetization policies samjhein. Rights ke bina content stream karna claims, restrictions ya channel action ka risk la sakta hai. Repeated ya minimally changed content ka monetization par kya asar hoga, use apne channel ke liye alag se assess karein; live rehna monetization approval ki guarantee nahi.

Common problems aur unke fixes
- YouTube ko stream signal nahi milta: check karein ki encoder chal raha hai, source file ka path sahi hai, URL aur key Live Control Room wale hain, aur VPS se endpoint tak outbound connection allowed hai.
- RTMPS connection error: endpoint mein `rtmps://` scheme, Live Control Room ka exact server address, encoder ka RTMPS support aur zaroorat par port 443 verify karein. Google technical guide ke mutabik TLS/SNI configuration bhi endpoint hostname se match honi chahiye.
- Stream key invalid ya leak ho gayi: key ko bina extra spaces paste karein; leak hone par YouTube Studio mein reset karein aur VPS config update karein.
- Playback rukta ya choppy hota hai: CPU saturation, upload instability, VPS transfer throttling, disk I/O aur source-file readability check karein; bitrate kam karke controlled retest karein.
- OBS freeze ya encoder exit: VPS RAM/CPU aur desktop session dekhein, phir logs check karein. Software encoding ke liye provider estimate ko minimum na samjhein.
- Process restart hua par broadcast expected tarah wapas nahi aaya: Live Control Room status dekhein aur encoder ko dobara connect karein; supervisor restart hona wahi YouTube broadcast preserve rehne ka saboot nahi.
- Archive nahi bana: YouTube ki stated automatic archive condition 12 ghante se kam streams par lagu hai; lambi stream ke liye archive availability assume na karein.
