Supercut is a third-party Apple Vision Pro app that gives you a Vision Pro-oriented way to browse and watch Netflix and Prime Video. It does not include either service or its subscription: you still sign in with your own account and remain subject to each service’s catalog, regional rules and title restrictions.
What Supercut does—and what it does not provide
Supercut is an Entertainment app by developer Christian Privitelli. Its U.S. App Store listing describes enhanced access to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video from Apple Vision Pro, with browsing, search, profile switching and playback controls in a spatial interface.
“Provides Netflix and Prime Video” means that Supercut offers an interface for accessing those services. It is not made by Netflix or Amazon, does not sell access to their catalogs, and does not replace a Netflix plan, Prime Video access, or title-specific rental or purchase charges. Availability and playback remain subject to the relevant account, marketplace and title.
The distinction matters especially for Netflix: Netflix’s Vision Pro help page documents Safari as its way to watch on the headset. Supercut offers an alternative interface, not an official Netflix visionOS app.

Why use Supercut on Vision Pro?
Supercut’s App Store description emphasizes a glass-like interface and viewing tools designed around Vision Pro. The developer advertises built-in search, including voice search, profile switching, shortcuts to service sections, aspect-ratio resizing, playback controls, a dimmable window and a Cinema environment that blocks out the surroundings and lets viewers position the screen.
The listing also claims Dolby Atmos and multichannel audio support for Netflix. These are developer-described features, not a guarantee that every title, account, plan or playback session will deliver a particular resolution, HDR format or audio track. Actual availability can depend on the service and content as well as current app compatibility.
Those features may appeal if you watch both services and want a shared launch point or a more immersive presentation than a browser window. Supercut is not described as a universal streaming aggregator; its listing focuses on Netflix and Prime Video.

How Netflix works on Vision Pro
Netflix’s official route is Safari. Netflix says to use the latest visionOS and Safari versions; its help page describes browsing titles, including My List, and using subtitles or alternate audio when available. It also says downloads are not supported when watching Netflix through Vision Pro.

Supercut is an alternative for viewers who prefer its custom controls and Cinema presentation. If it is unavailable or stops working, use Netflix in Safari: open Safari, go to Netflix, sign in, choose a profile and play a title. Netflix’s documented route does not provide offline downloads on Vision Pro.
How Prime Video works on Vision Pro
Amazon’s Prime Video App Store listing identifies the app as compatible with Apple Vision. Compatibility alone does not establish that the app is a fully bespoke visionOS experience, so it is best treated as Amazon’s own app option rather than assumed to match Supercut’s spatial interface.

Prime Video’s catalog, profiles, rentals and purchases are governed by Amazon and vary by marketplace and account. The Amazon listing describes downloads on supported platforms; it does not establish that every download feature works on Vision Pro. If Supercut fails, try the official Prime Video app or a supported web route, sign in to the relevant Amazon account and check that the title is available in your marketplace.
Price, compatibility and what you need
The U.S. Supercut listing showed a $4.99 app purchase, while the U.K. listing showed £4.99. Those are storefront-specific listing prices, not the cost of streaming subscriptions, and prices or availability may change. Check your local listing before buying: U.S. App Store and U.K. App Store.
The indexed U.S. listing specifies visionOS 1.0 or later, an approximately 9 MB app size and a 16+ age rating. Store metadata can change; confirm the current compatibility details on the listing for your region. You will also need an Apple Vision Pro and the account or service access required for whichever streaming service you want to use.

Install and start watching
- Open the App Store on Apple Vision Pro and search for “Supercut – Streaming Hub.”
- Check that the developer is Christian Privitelli and review the listing’s current regional price and compatibility.
- Purchase and install Supercut, then open it and choose Netflix or Prime Video.
- Sign in with the relevant existing account, select a profile, then browse or search for a title and start playback.
Service names and controls can change between app releases, so follow the labels shown in your installed version rather than relying on a fixed sequence of button names.
Supercut, Safari and Prime Video compared
| Option | Services and support | Interface and viewing | Additional cost and downloads |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supercut | Its App Store listing describes access to Netflix and Prime Video. It is a third-party app, not either service’s official app. | Advertises a shared Vision Pro-oriented interface, custom controls and Cinema environment. | The U.S. listing showed a $4.99 app purchase; streaming accounts and any service charges are separate. Do not assume offline downloads. |
| Netflix in Safari | Netflix’s documented Vision Pro viewing route. | Browser-based; it does not supply Supercut’s advertised custom Cinema environment. | No separate Supercut purchase. Netflix says downloads are unsupported on Vision Pro. |
| Prime Video app | Amazon’s App Store listing confirms Apple Vision compatibility. | Amazon’s own app; the listing’s compatibility information does not by itself establish a bespoke visionOS design. | The listing shows a free app download, while Prime Video access and rentals or purchases may involve separate charges. Downloads are described for supported platforms, not guaranteed for Vision Pro. |
Reliability, restrictions and troubleshooting
Supercut’s App Store version history records fixes for Prime Video playback and loading, profile switching, Netflix and Prime Video metadata, Netflix subtitle changes, and Prime Video audio-language and subtitle selection. The latest version visible in the indexed listing was 1.2.10, dated May 6, 2025; that search result does not establish whether a later release is available in every regional storefront. Check the live version history for current information.
- If playback, profiles or subtitles fail, update Supercut and visionOS, then sign out and back in if account or profile information appears stale.
- Try the same title in Safari or Amazon’s Prime Video app. If it works there but not in Supercut, the issue may be specific to Supercut’s compatibility.
- Check the service account, marketplace and title availability before treating a restriction as an app fault. Supercut cannot override regional availability, plan limits, parental controls, PIN requirements, concurrency limits or title-specific audio and subtitle options.
- If a problem persists only in Supercut, use the support route on the developer’s official site or App Store entry.
App Store user reviews have also described occasional lost controls, unexpected resume positions and freezing after removing the headset and returning. These are individual reports, not systematic evidence of current behavior; check recent reviews and updates rather than treating older reports as a confirmed present-day defect.

Who should choose Supercut?
Supercut is most compelling for Vision Pro owners who already use Netflix and Prime Video and value a shared, immersive interface enough to pay for another app. Safari is the simpler choice for someone who only needs Netflix’s officially documented route; Amazon’s app is a reasonable first-party option for someone focused on Prime Video. Apple’s Vision App Store collection also lists other streaming services with Vision Pro offerings, which may be a better fit if one of those is your primary service.
Supercut is not a fit for someone expecting subscriptions or content to be bundled into its price, needing Netflix downloads on Vision Pro, or requiring guaranteed official support from Netflix or Amazon. The app listing presents a more spatial way to reach two services, not a substitute for their own accounts, rules or apps.
