For the Canadian streaming week of September 16–22, 2025, the main additions are Netflix’s Black Rabbit and Haunted Hotel, Prime Video’s Canadian-shot Gen V season 2, Paramount+’s Tulsa King season 3, Disney+’s complete Futurama season 13 and new episodes of returning shows, plus Crave premieres and catalogue additions. Dates below are Canadian listing dates; release times, rights and catalogue availability can change.
The evidence for this guide covers the 2025 week, not September 16–22, 2026. Some weekly roundups begin on Monday, so September 15 titles are included in a separate note.
Editor’s picks
- Gen V season 2 (Prime Video, September 17): three episodes launch together, followed by Wednesday releases. The eight-episode season was filmed in and around Mississauga and features Vancouver actor Maddie Phillips.
- Black Rabbit (Netflix, September 18): an eight-episode crime thriller starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman, about a New York hotspot owner whose troubled brother returns.
- Haunted Hotel (Netflix, September 19): a ten-episode adult animated horror comedy in which a woman and her estranged ghost brother run a haunted hotel.
- Tulsa King season 3 (Paramount+, September 21): the next chapter of Paramount’s crime drama arrives as a season premiere.
- Futurama season 13 (Disney+, September 16): the complete season is listed for release at once.

Which service fits your watchlist?
- Choose Netflix for the week’s biggest new scripted releases: Black Rabbit and Haunted Hotel.
- Choose Prime Video if Gen V is the priority, especially if the household also uses Prime’s non-video benefits.
- Choose Disney+ for Futurama, family viewing and weekly franchise programming.
- Choose Paramount+ for Tulsa King, NCIS: Tony & Ziva and Paramount catalogue titles.
- Choose Crave for HBO and Warner Bros. programming, premium films, Canadian shows and its reality/documentary slate.
Before subscribing, check whether your telecom or television provider already supplies one of these services or a bundle. Legal Canadian availability can change; JustWatch Canada is useful for a current cross-service check, but platform announcements remain the primary source for premiere dates.
