Who is in the Doc Season 2 cast?
Molly Parker leads the ensemble as Dr. Amy Larsen, a physician rebuilding her life after a car crash erased eight years of memories. The other cast members play colleagues, family and friends who shape her recovery and her place at the hospital.

Which actors are returning, and who is new?
FOX’s renewal announcement identifies Molly Parker, Omar Metwally, Amirah Vann, Jon Ecker and Anya Banerjee as the returning core. Scott Wolf and Patrick Walker were recurring performers in Season 1. The Season 2 cast materials include both in the ensemble alongside the returning regulars.
Felicity Huffman is the clearly identified Season 2 addition, playing Amy’s mentor, Dr. Joan Ridley. FOX and Netflix list Charlotte Fountain-Jardim and Sarah Allen in the Season 2 cast, too; the official cast pages do not provide a complete breakdown of every performer’s contract or billing status, so their Season 2 roles are the clearest way to identify them.

What changes for the characters in Season 2?
Months after the crash, Amy is still trying to piece together her missing memories and rebuild her life. FOX’s season description frames her longer-term goal as repairing fractured relationships and eventually regaining the Chief of Internal Medicine role. Her connections to Michael and Jake complicate that effort, while Gina provides support and Joan’s motives add another source of tension. Amy’s relationship with Katie remains central to the family story.
FOX ordered 22 episodes for Season 2 in 2025. The series is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and FOX Entertainment Studios, and is based on the Italian drama Doc – Nelle tue mani. Netflix says that series was inspired by the case of Dr. Pierdante Piccioni, who lost 12 years of memories after a car crash.

Where can you watch Doc Season 2?
Netflix’s Sept. 22, 2026 guide says Season 2 is streaming on Netflix. In the United States, FOX says the series airs on FOX and is available the next day on Hulu. Streaming rights and availability can differ by country and change over time, so check the current listing for your region.

Doc adapts the Italian series Doc – Nelle tue mani, which Netflix says drew inspiration from Dr. Pierdante Piccioni’s real experience of losing 12 years of memory after a car crash. The American series centers on Amy Larsen, whose crash erased eight years. FOX announced the 22-episode Season 2 order in 2025; its renewal release also reported that the premiere had reached more than 16 million viewers across platforms and that viewing through Feb. 19, 2025, was 647% above its L+SD performance.

FOX Entertainment President Michael Thorn said the renewal followed audiences’ response to the first season and praised the cast led by Molly Parker. FOX’s official Season 2 description likewise centers on Amy as she rebuilds her life after the crash.
