Where to watch Episode 6
In the United States, Season 2 was listed as available through Crunchyroll and Netflix, with Hulu also listed as an option. Availability may differ by country, subscription tier, subtitle or dub language, and the date on which the catalog is checked. Confirm the episode’s current availability directly in your region before subscribing.
For Crunchyroll users, the service’s website includes a release calendar for tracking new episodes and release information. That is the most useful place to check if an episode does not appear at the expected time.
Why Japan sometimes shows August 8 instead of August 7
There are two schedules to distinguish:
- International streaming: the published schedule listed Episode 6 at 1:00 a.m. JST on August 7.
- Japanese television: the MBS/TBS listing used the late-night notation Thursday at 24:26.
Japanese television schedules often continue counting past midnight so that a program airing late on Thursday night remains grouped with Thursday’s lineup. In ordinary calendar terms, 24:26 on Thursday is 12:26 a.m. on Friday. Therefore, August 7 and August 8 are not necessarily conflicting episode dates: they describe the same late-night broadcast using different conventions. The international streaming time was also separate from the Japanese network slot.

The episode continues the Evil Eye storyline involving Jiji. The group attempts to drive the Evil Eye out of Jiji’s body using a Hayashi-style musical performance. Jiji, however, asks the others not to kill the entity. The conflict is therefore not simply about defeating the Evil Eye; it also centers on Jiji’s wishes and the group’s decision about what should happen to the entity inside him.

What to read after watching the Evil Eye material
Readers who want to explore the source material can pick up Dandadan Vol. 8, the paperback manga volume identified by VIZ as covering material connected to the Evil Eye storyline. It is a useful companion for comparing the manga with the anime, but the available information does not establish that Volume 8 corresponds exclusively to Episode 6. Anime-to-manga chapter boundaries should therefore be checked before starting at a particular chapter.

Season 2 physical releases
For collectors rather than viewers looking for the episode itself, Aniplex listed Dandadan 6 on Blu-ray/DVD for November 12, 2025, and Dandadan Original Soundtrack 2 for October 8, 2025. These are Season 2 physical-media and music releases, not special editions required to watch Episode 6. Retail availability should be checked before purchase.
