Dr. Oliver Wolf and his team face an unusually large emergency when a Bronx apartment building collapses. The disaster puts the hospital team under pressure while expanding the episode beyond the show’s usual individual neurological cases.

Spoilers beyond this point
The finale also advances Wolf’s family storyline and explores the aftermath of the collapse. Because the original search intent is primarily about when and where to watch, the article stops short of explaining the family twist or the pastor’s case resolution.

Why the finale’s medical mysteries fit the series
Brilliant Minds follows Dr. Oliver Wolf, played by Zachary Quinto, an unconventional neurologist whose face blindness gives him a distinctive perspective on patients and their behavior. The medical drama combines unusual neurological and psychological cases with the development of Wolf and his team of interns.
The character and premise are inspired by the life and work of neurologist and author Oliver Sacks. The show turns elements of Sacks’s personality and case-based clinical writing into a contemporary fictional hospital drama; it is not a direct dramatization of every case in his books.

It is an Oliver Sacks collection about neurological conditions and the experiences of patients, making it a companion reading recommendation rather than official Brilliant Minds merchandise or a tie-in novel.

No. It is the Season 1 finale: a two-episode closing event consisting of Episodes 12 and 13. Calling it the “series finale” would incorrectly suggest that the show itself ended permanently. The scheduling and streaming information here identifies the end of the first season only.

What to know before choosing a viewing option
- Peacock is the most complete option: Its official Season 1 listing includes all 13 episodes, so viewers do not need to locate the two finale installments separately.
- Live-TV services may differ: Hulu, fuboTV, YouTube TV, and NBC availability can depend on the service tier, local channel access, authentication, and current rights.
- Digital purchase is different from streaming: A listing on Amazon Video, Fandango At Home, or the Apple TV Store refers to a transactional digital option. It does not confirm a DVD or Blu-ray release.
- Check before paying: Streaming catalogs and purchase listings are time-sensitive, particularly when a show is distributed across network, streaming, and digital storefronts.
