Is Here on Netflix?
Yes. Netflix’s U.S. title listing currently shows Here as a 2024 PG-13 drama starring Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, and Kelly Reilly. The listing includes English audio, English audio description, and English and Spanish subtitle options.
Netflix availability is not universal. Its catalog can differ by country and can change without notice, so a Netflix listing in the United States should not be treated as a permanent worldwide availability guarantee. The film is also not a Netflix original; it is associated with Sony’s TriStar Pictures presentation.
Can you stream Here for free?
No free U.S. streaming option was listed in the availability check used for this guide. The current listing showed Netflix as the subscription service and separate paid rental and purchase options. That could change if a service adds the film or a promotion becomes available, so check the current listings if avoiding an additional rental or purchase charge is important.
Where to rent or buy Here digitally
In the United States, Here is listed for both rental and purchase through Apple TV and Fandango At Home. Sony’s official home-entertainment page also points viewers toward Apple TV, Prime Video, and Fandango as digital destinations.

Do not assume that a Prime Video link means the film is included with an Amazon Prime subscription. A platform page may offer a title as a rental or purchase even when it is not included in the subscription catalog. Check the specific U.S. listing for wording such as “included with Prime” before relying on subscription access.
Digital prices are particularly volatile. They can differ by store, promotion, video quality, and account location, so an old rental price is not a reliable current price.
Is Here still in theaters?
Here is not generally playing in U.S. theaters now. Its regular U.S. theatrical release began on November 1, 2024, and current availability is centered on Netflix, digital stores, and physical media rather than a normal nationwide theatrical run.
That does not rule out every possible screening. A local cinema could schedule a retrospective, repertory showing, film-club event, or other special engagement. If you want to look for an exception, search your ZIP code on Fandango or check the websites of nearby independent theaters. Local inventory is not identical everywhere, and a search result for one theater should not be presented as a nationwide showtime.

Buy the Blu-ray
If you want a permanent copy, a physical collection, or an option that does not depend on a streaming subscription, look for the Here 2024 Blu-ray. Sony identifies the film as available on Blu-ray and links to retailers including Amazon, Target, and Walmart. Availability and price may change, and the Blu-ray is only useful with compatible playback equipment.
A DVD edition is also available and may suit viewers whose player does not support Blu-ray. DVD picture quality is lower than Blu-ray, but it can be the more practical or less expensive physical option depending on current stock.
What is the 2024 film Here about?
Directed by Robert Zemeckis, Here follows a single location across many generations. The story focuses on the families who occupy that particular piece of land, moving through different periods of life, love, loss, and change. Tom Hanks and Robin Wright lead the cast.
That premise is why identifying the year matters: “Here” can also refer to other titles, including Here Today and the Belgian film Here. When searching a streaming service or retailer, select the 2024 American drama directed by Robert Zemeckis.
