What documentary fans should prioritize
If you are using the June schedule to plan a documentary-heavy watchlist, start with The Mortician on June 1, then look for Enigma on June 24 and My Mom Jayne on June 27. The June 1 catalog additions also make a strong nonfiction starting point with I Am Not Your Negro and My Scientology Movie.
Discovery-focused viewers had additional options throughout the month: Animal Pharm arrived as part of the Dr. Sanjay Gupta Reports banner on June 17, followed by new seasons of Expedition Unknown and Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch on June 19. The unscripted schedule also included new seasons of Ugliest House in America, Guy’s Grocery Games, House Hunters, Maine Cabin Masters, and Rehab Addict.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What was not included in the Max release
Several distinctions matter when interpreting the June list:
- Theater and streaming dates were different. A Minecraft Movie opened theatrically on April 4, 2025, before its June 20 Max debut.
- Max and HBO listings were combined in contemporary coverage. Some titles premiered on the HBO linear channel, some were Max Originals, and others were catalog additions.
- The Minecraft digital extras were separate products. The DLC and add-ons required Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and were not part of the Max library.
- The list was U.S.-specific. International Max catalogs and release dates can differ.
- Catalog presence was temporary for some titles. The schedule records announced additions in June 2025, not a guarantee of availability in a later year.
There was no editorial reason to recommend PC-cleanup software or a creator livestreaming service for this guide. Services designed to optimize computers or broadcast user-owned prerecorded video do not help a viewer find or watch Max programming. Similarly, any Max subscription or merchandise link should be checked for current availability and program eligibility before publication.

The Bottom Line
