UFC 309 start times in the United States
The original U.S. broadcast was divided into three viewing windows. The 10:00 p.m. ET listing was the start of the PPV main card—not a guaranteed walkout time for Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic.
| Broadcast segment | Start time | Original U.S. viewing options |
|---|---|---|
| Early prelims | 6:00 p.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. PT | ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass |
| Prelims | 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT | See the original UFC/ESPN listing for distribution |
| Main card | 10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT | ESPN+ pay-per-view |
The early prelims and prelims preceded the PPV card. Because the main event came after the other main-card bouts, the Jones–Miocic walkouts occurred later than 10:00 p.m. ET. UFC’s published schedule identified the broadcast window, but it did not promise an exact main-event start time.

How UFC 309 was broadcast
In the United States, the main card was an ESPN+ pay-per-view event. ESPN described the event as live exclusively on ESPN+ PPV, with English- and Spanish-language presentations, and UFC’s event listing included an “Order on ESPN+” option.
The preliminary programming was separate from the PPV purchase. UFC identified the early prelims as available through ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass. Those distribution details describe the original UFC 309 broadcast and should not automatically be applied to later UFC events, since sports-rights arrangements and platform labels can change.
What was on the UFC 309 card?
The headline bout was a UFC heavyweight championship fight between reigning champion Jon Jones and former two-time heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic. The co-main event was a five-round lightweight rematch between Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler.
Other notable fights included Bo Nickal vs. Paul Craig. UFC 309 was staged live at Madison Square Garden on November 16, 2024.
How to watch UFC 309 now
UFC 309 is a past event, so viewers should look for an official replay rather than a live PPV listing. The most defensible places to begin are:
- UFC’s official event page: Check the event listing for results and any available replay or Fight Pass links.
- Watch ESPN: An ESPN replay entry for the UFC 309 main card has been listed, although access may require an eligible ESPN subscription or may differ by location.
- UFC Fight Pass: UFC identifies Fight Pass as an early-prelim and replay destination in its event information. The exact catalog and access terms depend on the viewer’s market and account.
- Prime Video: Prime Video has listed UFC 309 episodes, including the Jon Jones–Stipe Miocic main card. A listing does not guarantee that the episode is included with every Prime membership, available in every country, or still offered under the same terms.
Before paying for anything, confirm that the listing is for UFC 309: Jones vs. Miocic, check whether it is a full-event replay or only selected fights, and review the subscription or purchase terms shown for your location.

International viewing information
There was no single universal international broadcaster that can safely be recommended for every country. UFC viewing rights are market-specific, and the service that carried the event in one territory may not have carried it elsewhere.
International viewers should use UFC’s broadcast or event information together with their local rights holder. Check the local date and time carefully: the U.S. schedule above is given in Eastern and Pacific Time, and a replay catalog may be different from the original live-broadcast provider.
UFC 309 results

UFC 309 memorabilia
For fans looking for a physical reminder of the event, the official UFC Store network has featured a UFC 309 merchandise collection, including an officially licensed UFC 309 Artist Series Poster – A3. Stock, sizing, retailer location, and regional availability can change, so verify the current listing and seller before buying. The existence of an official-store product does not establish that the same item is currently available through Amazon.
