The 2026 Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks are over. The 50th annual show aired live on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with a simultaneous stream on Peacock, a Spanish-language simulcast on Telemundo, and an NBC encore scheduled for 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. As of August 11, 2026, a currently available full-length replay has not been verified.
If you are looking for the next show, Macy’s says it is already planning the 2027 fireworks and will publish new broadcast and viewing information later. The 2026 locations, performers, times, and restrictions should not be treated as confirmed details for 2027.
How the 2026 Macy’s fireworks were broadcast
The official television option was NBC. The live broadcast ran from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time on July 4, 2026. Viewers outside New York could watch through their local NBC affiliate, although local channel availability and schedules depend on the market and television provider.
Peacock carried the NBC simulcast during the same 8:00–10:00 p.m. ET/PT window. This was the official streaming route for viewers who preferred to watch online rather than through an NBC broadcast signal. Telemundo also carried a Spanish-language simulcast hosted by Carlos Adyan and Jessica Carrillo.

NBC also announced an encore presentation at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. That timing was the scheduled 2026 encore, not a standing replay schedule for future Macy’s shows.
Is the full 2026 fireworks show still available to stream?
That has not been confirmed as of August 11, 2026. The official Macy’s post-event information promotes the completed show and historical material, but it does not clearly identify a currently available full-length replay. Peacock’s July programming listing confirms that the original NBC simulcast was scheduled; it does not prove that the entire broadcast remains on demand.
In practical terms, check the current listings on NBC, Peacock, and Macy’s official fireworks pages before assuming that a complete replay is available. Short clips, highlights, or unauthorized uploads are not the same as an official full-show stream, and an unofficial upload should not be presented as an authorized broadcast.
Could you watch NBC without cable?
For a future Macy’s broadcast, viewers in areas with adequate local reception may be able to receive their NBC affiliate over the air with an indoor TV antenna. Reception depends on your location, building materials, antenna placement, and the distance from local television transmitters, so check local channel availability before buying. An antenna cannot guarantee access to NBC in every home.
Where people watched in person in 2026
The 2026 event was a free public celebration, but access rules varied by location. Macy’s designated viewing information covered parts of the lower East River in New York City, selected areas in Brooklyn and Manhattan, elevated portions of the FDR Drive, and locations along the New Jersey waterfront.

New York City viewing areas
Historical 2026 viewing information included unobstructed-sky areas in Brooklyn and Manhattan. ADA viewing was provided at the NYC Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza and Pier 35. Some viewing locations in the Seaport, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and Brooklyn Heights Promenade used ticket-controlled access. These were city or event access controls, not paid admission to a commercial fireworks show.
Jersey City viewing areas
On the New Jersey side, Macy’s listed viewing areas along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, including Exchange Place, waterfront access points on Hudson Street, and the Colgate Clock area near Essex Street.
Macy’s recommended public transportation and warned against driving into the event footprint. Streets, entrances, security procedures, and capacity limits applied to the 2026 event and may change substantially for a future show.

No. The 2026 fireworks were not a ticketed commercial show. Macy’s warned that it does not sell VIP viewing tickets and does not endorse venues advertising paid fireworks-viewing access. Some designated areas had controlled entry or required free tickets, but that is different from purchasing a Macy’s VIP ticket.

What was included in the 2026 show?
The 2026 presentation was the event’s 50th show and formed part of celebrations for the United States’ 250th anniversary. Terry Crews hosted the broadcast. The announced performance lineup included Alexia Jayy, Noah Kahan, Post Malone, Bebe Rexha, Salt-N-Pepa, Shaboozey, and Blake Shelton.
Peacock described the production as featuring more than 85,000 firework shells, launches from both the lower East River and lower Hudson River, and a laser-light display involving the Brooklyn Bridge. Those details describe the completed 2026 production; they are not promises about the scale, locations, or technology of the 2027 show.

A simple checklist for the next show
- Confirm the year and date on Macy’s official fireworks information page.
- Check your local NBC listing if you plan to watch over the air or through a television provider.
- Check Peacock’s current event listing if you plan to stream the NBC simulcast.
- Look for a Telemundo announcement if you want the Spanish-language broadcast.
- Verify whether a replay is actually listed after the live broadcast; do not assume the simulcast will remain on demand.
- For in-person viewing, use the new official map rather than reusing the 2026 locations or access rules.
- Use public transportation information published for that specific year, because road closures and entry points can change.
Watching from an outdoor location
For a future event, a phone battery pack can be useful if you expect to stream from outside or use your phone for transit updates and event information. It is optional—not equipment required by Macy’s—and mobile streaming also depends on cellular coverage, data limits, and congestion. Downloading transit details in advance and carrying a charged phone may be more useful than relying on a live stream in a crowded viewing area.
