What the 2024 Peacock Cyber Monday deal included
During the 2024 Black Friday and Cyber Monday period, Peacock offered eligible new or returning customers a one-year subscription to its ad-supported Premium tier for $19.99. The reported regular annual price was $79.99, making the promotion a 75% discount.
The offer was available through Peacock and reportedly applied to people who were not currently paying for Peacock Premium or Premium Plus. It was not the ad-free Premium Plus plan, and it was not a free trial. The reported deadline was Monday, December 2, 2024.

Peacock also offered a separate short-term option: six months at $1.99 per month. That monthly promotion was different from the $19.99 annual offer and was subject to its own eligibility and expiration terms.
Is the $19.99 Peacock deal still available?
No. The December 2, 2024 deadline has passed. Readers should not rely on an old promotional code, archived checkout page, or headline claiming that the offer is still live.
As of August 13, 2026, Peacock’s plans page lists regular prices of:
- Peacock Select: $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year
- Peacock Premium: $10.99 per month or $109.99 per year
- Peacock Premium Plus: $16.99 per month or $169.99 per year
Those are the live regular prices identified for this update, not evidence that the 2024 Cyber Monday promotion remains valid. Seasonal offers can return, so check the current Peacock streaming deal or plans page at checkout before subscribing.
A current alternative: Peacock Premium included with Walmart+
If the goal is to get Peacock without paying Peacock separately, the strongest current alternative identified is Peacock Premium included with Walmart+. An active Walmart+ member can choose either Peacock Premium with ads or Paramount+ Essential at no additional charge within the membership.

This is not the same as Peacock being permanently free. Walmart+ is a paid membership, and the included Peacock benefit is the ad-supported Premium tier. Premium Plus is not included automatically; upgrading to the ad-free tier may cost extra.
Walmart’s benefit documentation says members can switch between Peacock and Paramount+ after 90 days. To activate the benefit, use the Walmart+ Benefits Hub to link an existing streaming account or create a new one. The benefit and Walmart+ membership price can change, so verify the current terms before joining.
Important for existing Peacock subscribers: If Peacock is billed directly, you may need to cancel that subscription and wait for the paid term to end before activating the Walmart+ benefit. A subscription billed through Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, or another partner generally has to be canceled or managed through that same provider.

The historical promotion was aimed at the U.S. market. Peacock is available in the United States and certain U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands; availability and plans may differ elsewhere.
Watch Peacock on your TV
You do not need special hardware if your television already supports the Peacock app. Peacock lists support for compatible Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, smart-TV, game-console, and Fire TV platforms.
For a television that lacks a supported app, an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is one compatible option. Peacock supports Fire TV devices running Fire OS 6 or later. To install the app, open the Fire TV Appstore, search for Peacock, install the app, then open it and sign in or select a plan.
The streaming stick only provides the hardware needed to run the app. It does not include a Peacock subscription, a free year, or access to the expired Cyber Monday promotion. A supported Roku Streaming Stick is another possible hardware route.
Watch the renewal date
Discounted streaming plans are usually introductory offers rather than permanent prices. Peacock’s terms state that promotions can have eligibility restrictions, limited durations, and restrictions on combining offers. When a promotional period ends, the subscription may renew at the then-current price if a payment method is on file.
That warning also applies to any future Peacock promotion. Before confirming payment, check:
- the exact tier—Premium with ads versus Premium Plus;
- the length of the promotional period;
- the price after the promotion ends;
- the renewal frequency;
- eligibility restrictions for current or former subscribers; and
- which company will manage billing.
How to cancel Peacock
If you subscribe directly through Peacock, open your account settings and use the cancellation option for the subscription. Cancellation generally stops renewal at the end of the current billing period; it does not necessarily provide a prorated refund or credit.

If you subscribed through Walmart+, Amazon, Apple, Google, Roku, or another third party, cancellation is generally handled through that provider. Canceling the wrong account or app does not necessarily stop the subscription that is actually charging you, so check the billing descriptor and subscription-management page first.

Peacock’s current help information says it offers digital gift cards but does not sell physical Peacock gift cards. Digital cards can be used for Premium and Premium Plus subscriptions purchased directly through Peacock, but generally cannot be applied to subscriptions billed through another partner.
That makes a Peacock gift card a poor substitute for the expired Cyber Monday offer—and a physical card should not be advertised as an available product without checking Peacock’s latest policy.
