Trump’s $10,000 Autographed Guitars: Prices, Models and What We Know

Trump’s branded guitar venture launched in November 2024 with autographed American Eagle acoustic and electric guitars listed at $10,000. Here is how that price compared with unsigned models, what was reported about the limited quantity, and what remains unknown about inventory, proceeds and Gibson’s complaint.

Donald Trump’s branded guitar venture put a $10,000 price tag on autographed American Eagle acoustic and electric guitars. The merchandise was launched and widely reported in November 2024; it was not a new 2026 release. As of August 13, 2026, the official catalog was still displaying both signed models at $10,000, although the available catalog information did not independently confirm item-level stock.

The price difference was the story’s central selling point. The unsigned American Eagle acoustic was listed at $1,250 and the unsigned American Eagle electric at $1,500. Forbes reported that 275 acoustic guitars and 275 electric guitars had been signed for the launch-era offering. That limited quantity was reported at the time and should not be treated as a statement about current inventory.

How large was the autograph premium?

Compared with the unsigned American Eagle models, the signed versions carried a striking premium:

  • The autographed acoustic cost $8,750 more than the $1,250 unsigned acoustic—approximately eight times the base price.
  • The autographed electric cost $8,500 more than the $1,500 unsigned electric—about 6.7 times the base price.

That comparison does not establish the market value of Trump’s signature. It shows only the difference between the listed prices for the branded unsigned and signed versions. No evidence in the available reporting demonstrates that the guitars appreciated after purchase, that the autograph was independently authenticated, or that either model was a proven investment.

What did buyers receive?

Forbes described the American Eagle models as using American-flag and bald-eagle imagery, with “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” lettering along the neck. The Associated Press reported that the broader offering included acoustic and electric guitars in several product families: the American Eagle Series, Presidential Series, Signature Edition and God Bless The USA collection.

The $10,000 American Eagle acoustic and electric guitars were the most conspicuous products because they combined the guitar branding with Trump’s autograph. The catalog also displayed less expensive branded electric guitars in black, gold and red, as well as God Bless The USA models. The available reports describe the product categories and visual branding, but they do not provide independent testing of the instruments’ tone, electronics, durability or overall build quality.

For readers comparing the merchandise with other physical collectibles, a search for a Trump guitar on Amazon should not be interpreted as evidence that Amazon carries the exact official $10,000 autographed model. Amazon inventory was not verified in this research; the phrase is best understood as a comparison or discovery search rather than a confirmed source for these specific guitars.

How limited were the signed guitars?

Forbes reported that 275 American Eagle acoustic guitars and 275 American Eagle electric guitars were signed. That would represent 550 signed American Eagle instruments across the two versions during the launch-era offering, assuming the reported quantities referred to separate groups.

The figure is important context for the premium, but it needs careful qualification. It came from November 2024 reporting, and the current catalog does not repeat the quantity or establish how many remain available. It is therefore more accurate to call 275 per model a reported launch quantity than to describe it as current inventory or proof that the guitars sold out.

Who made the guitars?

According to the guitar seller’s FAQ, the instruments were custom designed and developed by a veteran-owned company with assistance from a master luthier. The same seller-described material said the guitars were manufactured by multiple providers and incorporated domestic and international parts or features.

Those statements describe the company’s stated production process; they are not independent verification of manufacturing quality or provenance. The available research does not establish a single manufacturer for every model, nor does it provide hands-on testing of the guitars.

What was Trump’s financial relationship to the sales?

The Associated Press reported that the financial relationship between Trump and proceeds from the guitar sales was unclear. The available evidence does not support saying that Trump owned the guitar company, received a particular percentage of sales, earned a known royalty or made a specific amount from the venture.

His autograph and branding were central to the product’s appeal, but that fact alone does not reveal how revenue was divided among Trump, the seller, manufacturers or other parties. Any claim about Trump’s personal earnings would require financial documentation that was not established in the reporting reviewed here.

Gibson’s cease-and-desist complaint

The guitar launch also drew a design dispute. On November 26, 2024, Axios reported that Gibson had confirmed sending a cease-and-desist notice to 16 Creative, the company identified in the report as connected to Trump Guitars. Gibson alleged that the electric-guitar designs infringed its trademark in the Les Paul body shape.

A cease-and-desist notice is a demand or warning, not a court judgment. The available sources do not establish whether Gibson filed a lawsuit, whether the designs were changed, or how the dispute was ultimately resolved. It would therefore be inaccurate to state that a court found the Trump guitars to be infringing.

Where were the guitars listed in 2026?

The official Trump guitar catalog remained accessible when reviewed on August 13, 2026, and displayed the American Eagle autographed acoustic and electric guitars at $10,000. It also displayed the unsigned American Eagle acoustic at $1,250 and electric at $1,500, alongside the other branded models listed above.

The page included a general notice allowing up to four weeks for shipping of in-stock guitars. That notice should not be read as confirmation that every model was available. Because item-level inventory was not reliably shown in the retrieved catalog, the precise wording is that the catalog displayed the products and prices—not that the guitars were confirmed in stock or immediately shippable.

A 2026 copyright footer on the site likewise does not change the launch date. The evidence places the debut of the merchandise in November 2024.

What should a potential buyer verify?

A $10,000 signed guitar warrants more than a quick price comparison. Anyone considering a purchase should verify the following directly with the seller before paying:

  1. Exact model: Confirm whether the listing is the autographed acoustic, autographed electric or another branded model.
  2. Signature documentation: Ask what documentation, certificate or chain-of-custody information accompanies the autograph. The available research does not independently establish an authentication system.
  3. Current availability: Confirm item-level stock rather than relying on a general shipping notice.
  4. Delivery terms: Ask about the expected shipping window, insurance, returns and what happens if the guitar arrives damaged.
  5. Instrument specifications: Obtain the current details for woods, electronics, hardware, setup and included accessories. The reports reviewed here do not establish that a case, amplifier, cable or other playing equipment is included.
  6. Resale expectations: Treat the purchase as merchandise or memorabilia, not as a guaranteed investment. No resale-performance data was established.

What does the $10,000 price actually mean?

It means the seller placed a substantial collectible premium on the signed versions of two Trump-branded guitars. It does not, by itself, prove that the instruments are worth $10,000 on the secondary market. The premium may reflect the autograph, limited launch quantity, political branding and memorabilia appeal, but the available sources do not separate those factors or establish a reliable resale market.

The most defensible description is consequently straightforward: Trump’s November 2024 merchandise launch included signed American Eagle guitars listed at $10,000, while comparable unsigned American Eagle models were listed at $1,250 and $1,500. The official catalog still displayed those prices on August 13, 2026, but current inventory, Trump’s proceeds and the final status of the Gibson dispute remained unresolved.
