The most important setup detail is to connect the correct Apple Account and Peacock account during activation. Using unrelated accounts can leave one service apparently missing or attach the bundle to the wrong login.

“Ad-free” does not necessarily mean that every Peacock program has no advertising. Some live programming, sports, news, and other titles may still contain ads because of streaming-rights restrictions. Downloads also apply only to eligible titles and supported devices.

The bundle is not a combined catalog or a single universal player. Apple TV content remains primarily in Apple’s app, while Peacock content remains in Peacock’s app. A small amount of programming may be available for sampling in the other service’s environment, but full access is app-specific.
Where you can buy the bundle
Option 1: Subscribe through Apple
- Open the Apple TV app on an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV device, or another supported platform.
- Look for the bundle in the subscription area or under Add Channels & Apps. Exact labels can vary by device and software version.
- Select the Apple TV and Peacock bundle tier you want.
- Complete Apple’s payment and account prompts.
- When prompted, create or connect the Peacock account that you intend to use.
After an Apple purchase, follow the Apple-linked Peacock setup flow rather than entering an unrelated Peacock login. If you connect the wrong identity, the bundle may be associated with a different Peacock account and require support to correct.
Option 2: Subscribe through Peacock
You can also purchase the bundle on Peacock’s website or through an eligible Peacock app. If you already pay Peacock directly, open your account and go to Plans & Payment, then use the plan-change flow to look for the Apple TV and Peacock bundle.
The process is different if your existing Peacock subscription is billed by Apple, a wireless carrier, a cable provider, Prime Video, or another third party. In that case, you may need to manage or change the existing subscription through that billing provider instead of directly through Peacock.

Option 3: Subscribe through Prime Video when offered
Amazon has announced a limited-time Prime Video version of the Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus bundle at $19.99 per month in the United States. This is a separate billing route from buying directly through Apple or Peacock. Availability, eligibility, pricing, and terms should be checked in Prime Video at the time you subscribe because the offer is not described as permanent.

If you use this route, Prime Video may manage the subscription and billing. Apple TV programming will still generally be watched in the Apple TV app, and Peacock programming in the Peacock app, unless the current Prime Video implementation states otherwise.
How to activate the bundle after subscribing
- Identify the billing provider. Check whether the purchase was made through Apple, Peacock, or Prime Video. This determines where you manage payment, cancellation, and plan changes.
- Find the Apple activation message. If you bought through Peacock, check the confirmation email for Apple setup instructions. Also check spam and junk folders.
- Connect the intended Apple Account. Use the Apple Account you want to keep using for Apple TV. Apple warns that changing an already connected Apple Account may require Apple Support to unlink the existing account.
- Open Apple TV. Sign in to the Apple TV app with the connected Apple Account. Apple TV programming should appear under that account.
- Open Peacock. Sign in with the Peacock account created or connected during the bundle setup. The email address used for Apple does not automatically have to be the same as the Peacock email address.
- Activate Peacock on a television if necessary. Install the Peacock app, choose the sign-in or activation option, and enter the displayed code at Peacock’s official activation page using a phone, tablet, or computer.
How to watch on a TV, phone, computer, or console
You do not need an Apple TV 4K to use the bundle. The physical Apple TV box is one possible way to watch, not a requirement.
Apple TV app
Apple says its TV app is available on Apple devices, supported smart TVs, streaming devices, game consoles, Windows devices, Android mobile devices, and some cable boxes. The available features can vary by device and region, so confirm that your specific television or streaming platform supports the Apple TV app before subscribing.
Peacock app
Peacock lists support for web browsers; iOS and Android devices; Apple TV HD fourth generation or later running tvOS 18 or later; Fire TV devices running Fire OS 6 or later; qualifying Roku devices; Chromecast and Google TV; compatible smart TVs; PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5; Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles; and certain provider boxes.
Minimum software versions and supported models can change. A device that runs one app may not necessarily run the other, so check both Apple’s and Peacock’s current compatibility pages for your exact model.
Do you need an Apple TV 4K or another streaming device?
No. If your smart TV, game console, computer, phone, or existing streaming device supports both apps, you can use that equipment. An Apple TV 4K is a convenient option for a television that lacks one or both apps, but it is an optional hardware purchase and does not come included with the subscription.

What to do if you already subscribe to Apple TV or Peacock
Check your existing subscriptions before purchasing the bundle. Paying separately and then adding a bundle can result in duplicate charges or two active subscriptions.
Check who bills each service
- For Apple-billed services, review subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
- For a directly billed Peacock plan, check Peacock Account > Plans & Payment.
- For a Prime Video subscription, check Prime Video’s subscriptions or channel-management area.
- For a carrier, cable company, or other provider, use that provider’s account portal.
An annual Peacock plan purchased directly from Peacock may continue until its paid term ends before bundle access begins. Do not assume that starting the bundle automatically refunds or cancels an existing annual plan. Confirm the billing terms first.
Cancellation usually has to be performed by the company that bills you. For example, an Apple-billed subscription is generally managed through Apple, while a provider-billed subscription must be changed through that provider. Keep the billing route in mind when troubleshooting: a Peacock support login may show access information, but it may not be able to cancel a subscription billed elsewhere.
Fix common activation and playback problems
The Apple activation email never arrived
- Search the inbox associated with your Peacock account.
- Check spam, junk, promotions, and other filtered folders.
- Sign in to Peacock through a browser.
- Open the account page and look for Finish Apple Setup.
- Use that option to connect Apple TV directly if the email is unavailable.
Peacock says the subscription is not active
Sign out of Peacock on the affected device, then sign back in with the Peacock account that was created or linked during bundle activation. Do not assume that the Apple Account email is also the correct Peacock login. If the account still shows no plan, return to the original confirmation email or the account used for the purchase and verify that you are checking the correct billing route.

The Apple TV app does not show the subscription
Confirm that the Apple TV app is signed in with the Apple Account connected during activation. Signing in with a different Apple Account can make the Apple portion appear unavailable. If the wrong Apple Account was connected and the app will not let you change it, Apple’s guidance indicates that Apple Support may need to unlink the existing account.
The Peacock TV activation code fails
- Generate a new code in the Peacock app.
- Make sure the television or streaming device is online.
- Enter the code through Peacock’s official activation page.
- Check each character carefully and do not reuse an expired code.
- Make sure you sign in with the Peacock account tied to the bundle.
- Confirm that the device model and software version are supported.
Playback fails even though activation worked
Playback trouble is not necessarily a subscription problem. Try these steps in order:
- Close and relaunch the affected app.
- Restart the television, streaming device, phone, or console.
- Test the internet connection and restart the router if needed.
- Install available app and device-software updates.
- Clear the app cache and data where the platform provides that option.
- Uninstall and reinstall the app.
- Try the other service separately to determine whether the problem affects Apple TV, Peacock, the device, or the network.
Can you share the bundle with family members?
Apple says Apple TV subscriptions and Apple TV channels can be shared with up to five additional family members through Apple Family Sharing. That confirms a sharing route for the Apple portion of the bundle.
Do not assume that Peacock follows precisely the same household-sharing rules. Review Peacock’s current account and device policies before promising access to family members, particularly if they live outside the household or will use many devices.

If you are outside the United States, the Apple TV and Peacock bundle may not appear in the Apple TV app or on Peacock’s signup page. Do not purchase based on the U.S. price unless the offer is explicitly available for your account’s region.
