Since this is now an archival viewing guide, do not assume that Peacock still includes the WrestleMania XL replay. Replay rights, catalog availability, subscription pricing, and geographic access can change. Check Peacock’s current WWE catalog before subscribing or promising that the full event is available.
Outside the United States, WWE’s 2024 schedule listed WWE Network availability in more than 180 countries. That was the international distribution context for the event, not a guarantee of current rights. WWE’s international streaming arrangements may have changed since April 2024.

Why Cody Rhodes’ victory was the headline result
Rhodes’ victory ended Roman Reigns’ long championship reign and completed the central title story of WrestleMania XL. The match also featured major outside interference and appearances: John Cena helped Rhodes, and The Undertaker intervened against The Rock and the Bloodline. Rhodes ultimately overcame Reigns and the Bloodline to claim WWE’s top championship.

The victory was the culmination of Rhodes’ attempt to finish his story after falling short against Reigns at WrestleMania 39. The Saturday tag-team result had made the Sunday match more difficult, but Rhodes still won the title in the weekend’s defining moment.
How significant was WrestleMania 40?
WWE announced after the event that WrestleMania XL was, at that point, the company’s most successful and highest-grossing event. The following figures were reported by WWE and should be understood as company-reported figures rather than independently audited measurements:
- 145,298 attendees at Lincoln Financial Field across the two nights.
- Fans from all 50 U.S. states and 64 countries.
- Viewership up 41% across both nights compared with the previous year, according to WWE.
- Merchandise sales more than 20% above the prior WrestleMania record.
- More than 660 million social views over the two days.
Those figures help explain why WrestleMania XL remains relevant as an event archive: it was not simply a two-night title-card spectacle, but a major commercial and cultural event for WWE in Philadelphia.

WrestleMania XL memorabilia
WWE Shop listed event-specific Philadelphia merchandise, including a green Philadelphia-themed WWE WrestleMania 40 Philadelphia T-shirt. Inventory, sizing, pricing, and availability can change, and the exact item may now be limited or available only through resale marketplaces. Verify the seller, condition, size, and return policy before buying.
WWE also reported that WrestleMania XL merchandise was sold in partnership with Fanatics. That establishes the relevance of official WWE and Fanatics merchandise for collectors, but it does not guarantee that a particular product or affiliate offer remains available.
