Why some listings say February 9 in Japan
The apparent one-day discrepancy comes from Japan’s late-night television scheduling convention. The official Solo Leveling broadcast schedule lists the Japanese television block as Saturdays at 24:00. In Japanese programming, 24:00 means midnight at the end of the listed Saturday—technically 12:00 a.m. on Sunday.
That is why an international guide can identify the episode as a February 8 release while a Japanese schedule displays February 9. The official schedule also listed Prime Video’s earliest Japanese streaming window as 24:30, or 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. These Japanese distribution times should not be treated as a universal U.S. or international schedule.
What episode is “Don’t Look Down on My Guys”?
“Don’t Look Down on My Guys” is Season 2, Episode 6 and Episode 18 overall. The official Japanese series site labels the installment “18 Don’t Look Down on My Guys,” while Apple TV lists it as Season 2, Episode 6 under the same English title. This two-numbering system explains why some searches describe it as Solo Leveling Episode 18 rather than Season 2 Episode 6.
Spoiler-light story setup
Episode 6 continues the Hunters Guild strike team’s confrontation with the high orc shaman Kargalgan. According to the official episode synopsis, Kargalgan toys with strike-team leader Son Kihoon, leading Sung Jinwoo to intervene and summon his shadow soldiers against the high-orc army.
The previous episode established the immediate crisis: Jinwoo had entered an A-rank dungeon while posing as an equipment carrier, while the strike team became trapped after encountering high orcs and was taken toward Kargalgan’s lair. Episode 6 picks up from that situation and centers on Jinwoo’s arrival in the fight. This summary intentionally avoids later developments and major outcomes.
Where to watch Solo Leveling Season 2, Episode 6
Crunchyroll’s official Season 2 guide identified Crunchyroll as the primary international streaming destination and listed the North American English-subtitled launch time as 9:30 a.m. PT. Crunchyroll also has a dedicated listing for the series and episode content.

Catalogs are territory-specific, however. A show’s presence on Crunchyroll, Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, or another service in Japan does not guarantee that the same episode is available on that platform in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or another market. Language tracks and episode availability can also change after the original broadcast. Check the service available in your country for the current listing.
The official Japanese schedule named Prime Video as the earliest Japanese streaming service and listed additional Japanese distribution services, including Netflix and Hulu, for later availability. Those references describe the Japanese rollout and should not be read as a confirmation of U.S. Prime Video availability.

Viewers who want the source material can start with Solo Leveling, Vol. 1, the licensed English comic edition from Yen Press. Yen Press identifies the book as the official English comic adaptation by Chugong and DUBU/REDICE STUDIO and lists ISBN 9781975319434. Volume 1 is a starting point for the story; it should not be presented as a direct adaptation of Episode 6.
Does the Season 2 Blu-ray include Episode 6?
Yes, the Japanese Solo Leveling Season 2 Blu-ray/DVD Volume 1 includes Episodes 13 through 18, which means it contains Season 2, Episode 6—the anime’s Episode 18 overall. The official Japanese home-video page lists the release date as April 23, 2025.
That is a Japanese release, so prospective buyers should check region compatibility, subtitles, audio tracks, importing requirements, seller details, and current stock before purchasing. The official product page confirms the contents, but it does not establish that a compatible U.S. edition or current U.S. retailer listing is available.
