How to download a Tenor GIF on iPhone or iPad
Safari’s labels and available actions can vary by iOS version, Safari version, and the way Tenor presents a particular item. Tenor does not necessarily show the same dedicated Download button for every animation.
- Open the full Tenor GIF page in Safari rather than saving from a search thumbnail or an in-app preview.
- Tap the media, or use any save or share controls displayed on the page.
- If Safari presents the item as an image, use the available image-saving action. If it presents the item as a video or downloadable file, use the corresponding save or share option.
- Check the Photos app if you saved it as a photo or video.
