Hazbin Hotel Seasons 3 and 4 are officially ordered and in production, but neither has a confirmed Prime Video release date. Creator Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano said Season 3 was already well into production in a November 2025 interview and warned that the wait could be comparable to the gap before Season 2. Season 4 may arrive sooner after Season 3 because Prime Video ordered both seasons together.
As of August 8, 2026, 2027 is the most commonly projected year for Season 3, but it is only an industry estimate—not an announcement from Prime Video. Season 4 has no reliable public year or month yet. The series has also been renewed for a fifth and final season, so Season 4 is not the end of Hazbin Hotel.
What is officially confirmed?
Prime Video ordered Hazbin Hotel Seasons 3 and 4 on July 26, 2024, during the “Adapting Fan Favorites: A Conversation with Prime Video’s Adult Animation Creators” panel at San Diego Comic-Con. The seasons are being produced for Prime Video by A24 and Bento Box Entertainment. Animation World Network reported the two-season renewal.
In November 2025, Medrano told Collider that the team was “definitely well into” Season 3’s production. She also emphasized that animation takes time and compared the expected wait with the interval before Season 2. Her comments did not include a specific premiere year, quarter, month, or day. The reported interview details and timing comments are summarized by ComingSoon.

That leaves the release situation as follows:
| Season | Confirmed status | Release outlook |
|---|---|---|
| Season 3 | Ordered and in production | No official date. 2027 is the prevailing estimate, but it is not confirmed. |
| Season 4 | Ordered and in production | No official date. Medrano expects a shorter wait after Season 3 because both seasons were ordered together. |
| Season 5 | Renewed and designated the final season | No premiere date announced. |
When could Hazbin Hotel Season 3 be released?
The best current estimate is 2027, with some coverage projecting a late-2027 release. That projection comes from Medrano’s comparison between the Season 3 wait and the previous gap—not from a Prime Video schedule.
Therefore, “Season 3 is coming in 2027” should be treated as an informed forecast rather than a confirmed release window. Prime Video has not announced late 2027, a particular quarter, or a specific month.
The known release history helps explain why the estimate exists:
- Season 1 finale: February 2, 2024.
- Season 2 premiere: October 29, 2025.
- Season 2 finale: November 19, 2025.
The interval between the first-season finale and the Season 2 premiere was substantial, but it does not establish a fixed release pattern. Animation production schedules can change because of writing, storyboarding, voice recording, animation, post-production, music, distribution planning, and other factors.

Why might Season 4 arrive sooner?
Medrano said Season 4 should require less waiting after Season 3 because Seasons 3 and 4 were greenlit together. A simultaneous order can allow production planning to overlap, but it does not guarantee that the seasons will premiere back-to-back or within a particular number of months.
The most defensible interpretation is:
- Season 3 is likely to have the longer immediate wait.
- Season 4 may follow more quickly than Season 3 followed Season 2.
- There is still no confirmed Season 4 year, month, or premiere date.
Any report presenting a precise Season 4 schedule as settled should be treated cautiously unless it comes from Prime Video or an official Hazbin Hotel announcement.
The major 2026 update: Season 5 will be the finale
Earlier reporting sometimes described Season 4 as the final season because it was the last publicly known order. That information is now outdated.
On April 25, 2026, Prime Video announced that Hazbin Hotel had been renewed for a fifth and final season. Prime Video’s own update describes three additional seasons as ordered and identifies Season 5 as the series finale. See Prime Video’s announcement through About Amazon. Cartoon Brew also reported the Season 5 renewal.

Commonly repeated claims that are wrong or outdated
“Season 3 is confirmed for 2026”
There is no verified Prime Video announcement giving Hazbin Hotel Season 3 a 2026 premiere date. Some 2026 release news connected with the wider Hellaverse concerns Season 3 of the separate spinoff Helluva Boss, not Hazbin Hotel Season 3. ComicBook.com’s coverage illustrates the separate Helluva Boss announcement.
“Season 3 is definitely coming in late 2027”
Late 2027 is a reasonable projection based on the production comparison reported from Medrano, but “reasonable” is not the same as “official.” Prime Video has not committed publicly to late 2027 or to any other Season 3 window. SuperHeroHype describes 2027 as an estimate rather than a confirmed date.
“Season 4 is the final season”
This was understandable based on the earlier renewal news, but it is no longer correct. Season 5 was announced as the final season on April 25, 2026.

“The Season 3 trailers on YouTube are official”
Videos labeled “official trailer” appear in search results, but a title or thumbnail alone does not verify that a video came from Prime Video or the official Hellaverse On Prime channels. As of August 8, 2026, the verifiable information is the renewal, production status, and broad timing comments—not a confirmed Season 3 premiere trailer and date. One example of the kind of unverified result that should be checked carefully is this YouTube video.
For reliable updates, readers should look for a matching announcement on Prime Video’s official channels, the official Hazbin Hotel or Hellaverse On Prime accounts, or a release listing published directly by Prime Video.

The most accurate answer for fans waiting for Season 3
Hazbin Hotel Season 3 is real, officially ordered, and in production. The current expectation is a release sometime in 2027, potentially later in the year, but that remains an estimate. There is no confirmed date to circle on a calendar.
Season 4 is also officially in production and may arrive sooner after Season 3 than Season 3 follows Season 2. However, “sooner” does not provide a fixed schedule. The only confirmed endpoint is that the show will continue through Season 5, which Prime Video has identified as the final season.

No. Prime Video announced on April 25, 2026 that the series had been renewed for Season 5, which will be the final season.
