Twisters has three different music collections that are easy to confuse: the 29-track country-heavy companion album Twisters: The Album, the 25 songs and musical selections reported as heard in the finished film, and Benjamin Wallfisch’s separate 19-track orchestral score. They overlap, but they are not the same thing.
Below is the complete reported song guide, organized by story placement, followed by the full album tracklist, the eight album songs reported as absent from the movie, and the original score details. Scene descriptions are approximate rather than frame-accurate timestamps, since placements can vary slightly between cuts and home-viewing versions.
Every song heard in Twisters
The film’s featured music moves between contemporary country, country-rock, regional sounds, a Spanish-language opening cue, a national anthem performance, and a few songs that are not included on the companion album. The following placements describe what is happening when each selection is heard.
