Pakistan
Pakistan’s official television outlets were PTV Sports and Geo Super. The ICC’s 2026 rights listing named Myco, Tamasha, ARY Zapp and Tapmad as the country’s digital partners.
Do not assume that every listed platform offered identical access or that every online stream was free. Registration, package requirements and availability could differ by service. The ICC also announced Urdu commentary for Pakistan matches through the Pakistani broadcast and digital partners. The official rights listing does not establish PTVFLIX as the tournament’s main digital destination, so it should not be presented as a confirmed official option without separate verification.
United States and Canada
Willow TV held the official North American rights, with digital access through Willow and CricBuzz. Willow’s coverage was available in English and Hindi.
The important free-streaming distinction is that the ICC announced free access in the United States and Canada for USA matches, including through Willow’s YouTube channel. That promotion did not make India–Pakistan free. Viewers seeking this fixture in North America generally needed Willow or CricBuzz access.

Willow’s current FAQ lists a U.S. plan at $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year, and a Canadian plan at C$8.99 per month or C$79.99 per year. Those are current service prices and may not match the price displayed when the February match was live.
United Kingdom and Ireland
The match was available through Sky Sports Cricket and Sky Sports Main Event, with online viewing through Sky Go and NOW. This was a paid rights territory rather than an official free-streaming territory for India–Pakistan.
Australia
Prime Video was the official Australian broadcaster. A subscription or local offer was required. A free trial should not be assumed: trial eligibility, pricing and availability can change. Hindi commentary was available for India matches, as well as the semi-finals and final.
New Zealand

SuperSport was the official broadcaster for South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. The applicable television or streaming package depended on the viewer’s local distribution partner.
Middle East and North Africa
Viewers in the Middle East and North Africa were directed to CricLife Max through StarzPlay. This was a paid streaming route, subject to the local StarzPlay catalogue and subscription terms.
Sri Lanka
Sri Lankan viewers had access through Dialog TV, ThePapare.com and Dialog Play. The ICC also identified TV Supreme as a free-to-air partner and PEO TV as an additional distribution platform.
Free-to-air television and free online streaming are not the same thing. The announcement supports TV Supreme’s free-to-air status more clearly than it establishes unrestricted online access. ThePapare.com or Dialog Play may require local registration, a package or other conditions.

Japan and Indonesia
The ICC specifically announced a free, match-specific YouTube option for viewers in Japan and Indonesia. India–Pakistan was streamed on the official ICC YouTube channel in those territories, with Japanese and Bahasa commentary. This was not a worldwide YouTube stream; viewers elsewhere might see only highlights, an unavailable video or no live event.
Other eligible territories
In territories not assigned to a separate rights holder, ICC.tv was the principal official free-streaming option. The ICC stated that registration was free, but live content was geo-restricted. That means ICC.tv was free only where the ICC had authorized the stream and was not a universal answer for viewers in India, North America, the U.K. or other rights-holder territories.
ICC.tv also offered Hindi commentary for all matches and Urdu commentary for Pakistan games where available. Commentary and audio feeds could vary by territory. The ICC app’s world-feed audio was another legitimate option for listeners who wanted audio rather than video.
What free meant for this tournament
Sports-streaming guides often use the word free too broadly. For India–Pakistan, it could describe several different arrangements:
- Free-to-air television: the relevant TV channel could be watched without a pay-TV subscription in its authorized market.
- Free streaming: the video had no subscription charge, although an account, advertising and an internet connection might still be required.

A broadcaster asks for payment
That may be correct. India–Pakistan was not covered by one worldwide free offer. The free ICC.tv arrangement applied only in eligible territories, and the free Willow offer in North America applied to USA matches rather than this India–Pakistan fixture.

Broadcast rights are territorial. A traveler should first check whether their normal provider permits viewing while abroad and should use the broadcaster authorized in their current location where possible.
A VPN should not be presented as an official or guaranteed way to bypass a territory restriction. The ICC.tv FAQ explains that live content is geo-restricted, while Amazon Prime Video’s terms prohibit technology intended to obscure or disguise a user’s location. Any traveler considering a VPN must check the relevant provider’s terms and local law. Changing location can result in an error, blocked playback or loss of access; it is not a dependable substitute for an authorized local subscription.
Why unofficial free-stream pages are a bad alternative
A page promising a free HD India–Pakistan stream outside the ICC and its listed rights holders may be unauthorized. Such pages can vanish during the match, redirect users through aggressive advertising, expose devices to malware or collect payment and login details. They also do not provide a legitimate replay solution.
JioStar said it had taken anti-piracy action during the tournament, including blocking unauthorized websites and removing infringing IPTV applications. Use the broadcaster listed for your country instead, and do not use pirate links, mirror domains or unofficial IPTV instructions.
