The original Star Wars trilogy is widely regarded an epic masterpiece. Mark Hamill is still one of the best actors in the world, namely because of his work on Star Wars.

Luke Skywalker is one of the most popular fiction characters of all-time. The Empire of Dreams, is a documentary documenting the original Star Wars trilogy including Star Wars (later called a New Hope), The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi.

The documentary takes a look at how these three movies made an impact on popular culture. Strictly chronological, divided into five parts, from beginning of Lucas’ career as a filmmaker, to the complicated production of Star Wars.

It is definitely one of the best, if not the best Star Wars documentary you will see about the original trilogy. The documentary also features interviews with Lucas, and many of the original cast and crew members.
