Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum’s engagement was reportedly called off in October 2024, according to the Los Angeles Times. The report did not cite a reason, and representatives had not immediately responded to the newspaper’s requests for comment. The engagement itself had been confirmed by a source to ABC News in October 2023; neither report was a direct announcement from the actors.
What is known about their engagement now?
The latest status in the cited coverage is the Los Angeles Times report published October 30, 2024: the couple had reportedly called off their engagement. The newspaper said representatives had not immediately responded to requests for confirmation and gave no reason for the reported split. That is a reported update, not a statement attributed directly to Kravitz or Tatum.

How the relationship and engagement were reported
They were linked while working together
ABC News reported that Kravitz and Tatum had been linked since 2021, when they began working together on Kravitz’s directorial debut, Blink Twice. In ABC News’s October 31, 2023 story, reporter Angeline Jane Bernabe wrote that “The couple are getting married, a source has confirmed to ABC News.” The Los Angeles Times also reported their engagement that day, attributing the news to People and noting that representatives had not immediately answered its request for comment.
Lenny Kravitz spoke about the engagement in January 2024
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight published January 4, 2024, musician Lenny Kravitz was asked about his daughter’s engagement. He said: “When your family is happy, when your child is happy, that’s it — I’ve done well. Blessed.”
