Zilla Fatu is the son of WWE star Umaga and a member of the Anoa’i/Fatu wrestling family. WWE’s profile identifies him as a wrestler; separate reporting says he made his WWE NXT debut on August 11, 2026. That appearance establishes a documented WWE milestone, but it does not by itself confirm his contract terms or a long-term roster arrangement.
Who is Zilla Fatu?
Zilla Fatu is a professional wrestler whose profile on WWE.com identifies him as the son of Umaga, the WWE Superstar whose real name was Edward Fatu. WWE places Zilla within the Anoa’i/Fatu wrestling family and names Jacob Fatu, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns as his cousins. These are WWE’s stated family relationships; the profile’s broader language about the family is promotional copy.
WWE lists Fatu at 6 feet 2 inches and 250 pounds. Those are the statistics shown on his profile, not independently verified measurements.
What is known about his wrestling career?
Early career context and the family name
A 2025 episode listing for Chris Van Vliet’s interview with Fatu frames part of the conversation around Umaga’s legacy and the pressure associated with the Fatu surname. The listing also names a TNA debut, a match with Booker T and a WWE tryout among its topics. It establishes that those subjects were included in the episode description; it does not establish the tryout’s outcome or a resulting contract. See the interview listing.

Wrestling’s personal impact
In January 2026, WrestleTalk reported on Fatu reflecting on wrestling’s effect on his life in an interview with Denise Salcedo. The outlet described him as saying the business had saved his life. This is a report of interview comments, not a substitute for a full transcript or a direct quotation from Fatu. WrestleTalk’s account provides that context.
Reported WWE NXT debut
A September 2026 Times of India report says Fatu debuted on WWE NXT on August 11, 2026, appearing during a match involving Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana. That date and event are secondary reporting; WWE’s profile confirms his profile page but does not give a debut date. The appearance is a documented career milestone, but the available reporting does not establish his contract terms, exclusivity or the length of any roster arrangement. What WWE says about Fatu
WWE’s profile describes Fatu as “one of the most controversial members of the storied Anoa’i/Fatu dynasty” and says he is comfortable with insults as well as fighting. That wording is WWE’s promotional narration, not a statement spoken by Fatu. The profile is useful for WWE’s own description of his identity and presentation, while dates and career events should be attributed to reporting when the profile does not provide them.
